RE: AFPD control problem

I believe it gets loaded when you install the program? It's been awhile since I installed mine but the driver says Ikarus in control panel so that would make sense. There's an update to the program...

RE: AFPD control problem

I don't think we have the same problem as I reduced the travel in my TX down to 100 from 125 and it's within the allowable range now. I recalibrated in control panel, then in the sim and all is well...

RE: AFPD control problem

Does recalibrating help? I can't seem to get the values below the breakoff threshold. Come to think of it I did increase my travel in my radio recently. Will have to put it back and see if that's...

AFPD control problem

Hi all,

I hadn't used my sim for awhile and when trying to calibrate my tx (JR XP-652), I found that both full down stick and full right aileron freaks out the other controls. It used to work...

RE: Monsoon 3D plane download

Dion - Do you want those in ARFs or kits?

Seriously, after balling up a few foamies and having no time to even fly no less repair/rebuild I made that one to learn 3D on. It turned out pretty...

RE: Monsoon 3D plane download

I liked how the Slow-Ride flew so much, I couldn't wait for one so designed my own (sort-of) :)

RE: strange AFPD graphic bug?

Okay, installed the patch. I think the original problem is fixed but now my frame rate is dropping at times when it shouldn't. Usually it's in the hundreds so I use v-sync but am now noticing it...

RE: Monsoon 3D plane download

I DLed the Monsoon (both versions) and love it. However, I started messing with it to increase the wing loading for a more typical 3D plane (about 7 oz per sq ft) and tweaked the CG some back and...

RE: strange AFPD graphic bug?

I installed the newest graphics card drivers but it still happens.

Still reluctant to install the program patch since I'm not sure it's for my version.

Can someone clear this up?

strange AFPD graphic bug?

Hello, I'm very happy with the program but once in a while usually after a crash during reset in certain views I get a black rectangle window in the lower left corner showing the plane planform in...

RE: Most fun I've had since flying real planes!

I don't know for sure as I've only got Deluxe and only for a few days. Maybe someone else knows. I'd imagine you'd need the same scenery and plane installed at least. I think AFPD will run Pro...

RE: Most fun I've had since flying real planes!

That's the nice thing about AFPD is the adjustments available. Until I lowered the sim speed and practiced, I couldn't get very deep into the river brush without hitting a tree. Worked my way up...

Shift + F12?

This key combo is listed in the F1 key chart but doesn't seem to do anything. Not mentioned in the manual. Anyone know what it's for and how to get it to work?

Most fun I've had since flying real planes!

Just got my copy and am I having a blast! Not just flying as RC but from the cockpit as a "real" plane. If you haven't tried this yet I highly recommend it.

Try this: Start record and take...

RE: Rodeo- Editing the model parameters

On the same editing subject, I'm trying to modify a flying wing I found using elevons. When I go into the editor, the deflection values for one wing says 41 deg and the other -41 deg.

If I...

Now for something entirely different!

the Johnson 250 is about 1 1/8" long (less shaft), 3/4" wide (at the widest) and 5/8 wide at the flats (not a round can). Sorry, no metric ruler handy. It weights 36 grams with nothing attached.

Might want to take a look at the free construction guide for the Wally Wing made from a $4 Walmart hand chuck foam glider. Not much harder than a Zagi to build, flies a little slower, soars a little...
