RE: ARFs in SCALE CONTESTS

Leo,
Funny, I sold my 10x too. Great radio for pattern or 3D but not for scale or fun flying. Can't figure out why they were so set on not allowing you to assign switches. My Stylus also weighs a...

RE: Radial engine

Good idea to make teh engine more 3d. I think people "try" to hard on a sport scale model and end up getting to frstrated. I am very pleased with my 1d engine on my Gee Bee. From ten feet away it...

RE: HELP!!! -- working styrene!

Don,
I don't know how big your parts are but this is a method I've used for small part 1-2" in size but should work fine for larger parts like yours that are fairly flat.

Cut some plywood...

RE: Nelson system 3 piant

Jay- When you used the Nelson primer or any of the other primers did you sand them smooth before painting with 400-600 paper? If you did this is most likely why its too smooth. I have used Nelson...

RE: Anyone Actually Used Nelsons Clear over Latex for Glow?

Yes, I have used Nelson base, primer and clear.

Water soluble and no smell. The best way to describe the paint is that it has the charistics of lacquer without the smell. They brush well...

SVX,

Nelson clear is very fuel proof. I have not used it over Latex so I can't comment on the bonding properties to it but it sticks like snot on everything else. I have used it tinted with...
