RE: Hyper 7 Bodies

I believe they stopped making the Crowd Pleazer for the Hyper 7's but here's one you can use (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCWA3&P=7).

RE: Need to Identify Which Hyper this is please help !!!

file:///D:/Pics/rc%20pics/IMG_0921.JPGI believe that is a hyper 7 NOT a hyper 8. Hyper 8's have the lay-down steering servo setup and a few other differences. Here's a picture from my old...

RE: Hyper 7-E Conversion

It would but the novak systems for 1/8 applications tend to thermal after 10-15 mins of running. That is why it has a bad rep.

RE: conversion kit

I haven't seen a direct bolt-on kit but you can get the parts you need from RC-Monster. Here's the link for the motor mount (http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail.php?prod=RCMmuggymnt).

RE: Buying 1/8th scale electric roller, which one?

The chassis breakage on the Ve8 is due to a design flaw which will be corrected in the updated version . At 1st people though it was the cold that did it but it was happening at various temperatures....

RE: Buying 1/8th scale electric roller, which one?

1+ for the Ve8. The Fusion EX1 would be a good option to but your limited on where you can get parts from. The Ultra Lx-1e is an older design and would be better as a basher than a racer.

RE: HPI Vorza

The Vorza is based off the Hot Bodies D8 buggy so it's a proven platform. Many of the parts from the Vorza, D8 and Ve8 are interchangeable so finding spare/upgrade parts wouldn't be hard or...

RE: HB VE8

Both actually, since the skid plates are bolted on directly to the chassis. Here is chassis #2 after landing from a double jump. I threw out the rear skid plate before taking these pics but you can...

RE: HB VE8

I currently have 5-7-3 in mines but I know others that have 5-5-3 which i believe is stock. Once you get your ve8, invest in the aluminum skid plates and servo horn. People have been breaking or...

RE: Best electric 1/8 buggy

I would either get a Hyper 9e OR ve8. The 9e is a tad more than the ve8 but the parts are a little bit more durable than the ve8. However, the ve8 will allow you to use mechanical braking.

You can always use something like VMware to get a Virtual OS with Win XP on it so you can use the software.

RE: PayPal payment on hold???

Nope, all the PayPal fees would be refunded. You would however have to file a claim with eBay to get your Final Valve fees refunded (http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/credits.html).

RE: PayPal payment on hold???

The refund/cash option sounds like the better plan. You wont be hounded by eBay/PayPal if the deal goes down south plus it will save you money on the damn fees. The problem with the 1st plan is that...

RE: hyper bodyshell

I know the bodies for the 8.5 will fix the 8. You can also look into the Crowd Pleazer 2.0 body for the 8/8.5 but i don't know the dimensions off hand.

RE: HB VE8 OR INFERNO VE

The kit is not hard to put together. The instructions in the manual was very easy to understand. I would honestly get a VE8 over the inferno but that's IMO.

RE: Xtm Xt2 .247 engine is stuck!!

Sounds like the clearance between the piston and sleeve is still tight. Try heating the engine up with a hair dryer or heat gun before using the pull starter.

RE: 1/8th conversion question

If you still want to go the brushed route, these motors (http://www.rcplanet.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=TRI9241&click=3) should do.

RE: What is the cheapest air compressor to blow off RC's?

The only problems i experienced with their stuff are the cheap tools . I believe the warranty on the compressors are only a few bucks just in case.
