Well the point of this kit is something to throw my Spare engine and electronics on. I don't want to spend any new money, just the kit. So the engine stays, the kit is the variable factor.

I think a scale fashion is fine. It is an O.S LA 40 like I said in the first post. It looks like everyone says the 1/5 scale. I need to save up a bit more money.

Thanks for the advice. I do already have an OS 40 engine though, That is the engine I'm buying the kit for. So I'm not sure if it will fly with that, or if it's safer to shoot for the 1/6 because...

I am trying to decide which Sig J3 cub kit to get. I hear the 1/6 is a real doozie to build and takes some time, and that the 1/5 is more precut and easy. It seems like a pretty big margin on price...

I finally maidened my Extra 260 this Sunday. I have been trying for about 2 months to get it in the air, every weekend. There has been lots of trouble getting the idle down on the Magnum 70 4-strk....

I agree. I just got the Nitromodels Extra 260 this weekend. It was a little tough to build, but ive decided its all worth it now that it's done. Great looking model.
