I use WD-40 and it workd just fine. You could even use it as after run oil...the "WD" stands for water displacement which will coat the piston and sleeve with the oil to prevent rust from forming on...

1. losen all motor screws
2. adjust the motor
3. place my hand on the heat sink and feel for vibrations as I roll the buggy back and forth

I see your point. I would like to see a 1/10 two stroke engine...the nitro is awsome and the power is great...I just have a hard time spending that amount for fuel...cal me furgal. LOL

Your right about the temp, engine, etc playing a factor. I was told to stay with 20% nitro...I heard 30% and up are really for high performance engine. The only way to truly test the different...

I use air compressor and WD-40 to clean my buggy. I pay attention to the bearings and make sure to remove all of the sand that might damage them. I find the comress air works fine.

LOL..I use WD to loosen the dirt and debirs and follow it up with my air compressor to clean it right off. This is how I clean the buggy as well...so far so good I guess.
