It is a shame that the foot prints that were put on the moon in 1969 will be replaced by foot prints of China and Russia soon.

The picture of the shuttle will be something to remember.

I too am sorry to see the end of our leadership in manned space flight
Started aerospace career in April of 1960.
To see and hear the roar of the engines and to see it slowly lift off the pad....

This pattern in the payload doors does allow enough air to supply a HET edf on 4s
You will also note that the payload fits so there is apx 1/16 inch on payload doors to body

Think you may want to relocate edf so front of edf to be at the rear bulkhead
I think that the opening holes in the bulkhead will allow more airflow as the prototype

You may just have to open up the nose and add a screen if you are going to use the tube to feed the edf

I think that you will have to increase the air flow.

The original started up with a small slot in the top of payload door. There was not enough air,
it had to have payload doors size holes...

The Cyclone Power "Red Velocity" 64mm Special Metal Fan Can replace the stock fan system of most 64mm EDF Foam Jet In the market.
This is the EDF I will be using on my final version of the Shuttle...
