Freddy, do you find that the 13/4 prop gives you enough forward speed or is it mainly good for slow stuff like harriers, hovers etc?

I'm putting together a QQ 73" Yak with an OS 160 (AUW approx 11 lbs).

I was thinking of going with 6975HB on each elevator half and each aileron and 5985 on rudder.

Do you reckon...

I used eletrical tape and it held well. If it lifts or wrinkles apply some heat with a covering iron (with a sock on it).

I had a GMS 1.20 many years ago. It was the version with the machined carb. I've seen newer ones with a cast carb and remote needle.

I had all sorts off issues getting it to transition well.

I had excellent success with the OS headers when I switched to Nitrile O-rings. I got them from my local bearing shop. I'm not sure but I think this material handles the fuel and temperatures...

I've got an OS 1.60 ready to go in my QQ Yak. I've also got the Bisson BGX pitts muffler which also suits the OS 1.60. I've heard that it runs better on the BGX version rather than the purpose...

I tested the Weston UK aerobatic mini pipe today on my OS 140RX. The good news is that its very quiet and provides great throttle response. The bad news is that no matter how long or short I tuned...

Was the header length critical? Did you have to add a header extension?

Jeff, what size KS canister did you use? Was it the 30cc one?
