How heavy is your truck? Do you have a lot of aluminum goodies on it? If so, heavier weight oils can be a good thing :)

I use 30-45wt in one of my stock maxx's and 50-70wt for a HEAVY...

I have heard the Integy's are great. Personally, I have two trucks setup with the Traxxas big bores and they are awesome. One year running and NO problems....even when running heavy oils like 80wt.

Oh yeah, use Permatex copper exhaust sealant (bronze in color) to seal the pipe halves together. Works great and no more leaks at the halves.

FYI - There is an old style of CVEC pipe that is really hard to tune. It has a longer taper to it. The newer style (shorter taper) is the better of the two.

Do not use the rear exhaust...

I heard that the TC is now extinct? Tamiya has a new truck coming down the pipe and the TC will not be continued?
