that's about 5 and a half feet. electric i assume? scale speeds? a couple of large batteries would make a good ballast, and you'd have reverse. maybe try contacting dumas-

the 64 cell suggestion was on the extreme side of power. that boat is almost 5 feet 4 inches long! lol, that's a whole lotta Rosie! it's all relative. you should base the cell count on the size...

from what i have seen, jet pumps do work. but if your looking for high speeds, then they're not the way to go. the highest speeds if seen are in the 35-45 mph range.

it'll do between 65 and 85 mph depending on prop/pipe length/fuel used. for heat racing you need acceleration so race setup is about 65 to 75 mph. i've stuffed it many times and it keeps on tickin....
