RE: Hangar 9 40 Size Piper Pawnee!!!

I have a new OS 65 ax in mine. Pitts muffler. 12 x 6 prop. I feel it's underpowered in the wind. 3/4 throttle on a calm day. A 75 wouldn't hurt, it's a big plane, light wing loading.

RE: Thunder Tiger Cessna 177 Cardinal????

I've had two of them. Wheeled, not floats. OS 61FX made it very fast. It has a thin wing that doesn't like to turn slow, easy to stall. I used rudder on final to avoid tip stalls. Straight ahead...

Thanks for everyone's input on my Evo 26cc. Keeping it simpler, I ordered instead the 81 inch Aichi D3A1 VAL for 26cc or 120AX. First observations, it'll take a lot of nose weight, don't use the...

RE: P-39 by ESM

The 26GX manual says 3.8 hp at 9,000. Weighs 2.75 lbs with muffler and ignition. Swings an 18x6 @ 8,700 rpm. Bought it from a friend who flew it one time in a big cub.

RE: P-39 by ESM

If a 30 works, would my Evolution 26cc? I fly scale, don't need vertical.

RE: Top Flite Contender .60 inverted engine question

I side mounted my 61FX, had to angle it just short of 90 degrees for the muffler to clear the fuse side.

RE: Midwest AeroSport .60

Ah, my mistake. I has the Aerostar .60, a flat bottom wing trainer. Less lively than the Aerosport.

RE: Midwest AeroSport .60

Great airplane. Flew it for a year. I'll try to find photos. Mine broke aft of the wing trailing edge after accumulated bounced landings caused by the too springy mains and my learning experience....

RE: Wanted Top Flite Beechcraft Bonanza Kit NIB

Whatever....
I've been searching for a TF Bonanza lately, in case someone changed their mind about tackling the project.

RE: Don Lowe Phoenix 8

Yes, it's epoxy, identical to your photos. Not interested in money, just looking for hard to find items. I've been wanting to buy and build a TF Bonanza for two years. I'm tired of ARFs, I haven't...

I have a Phoenix 8 fuse, says 1976, belly pan, firewall, wing blocks. Plans, showing the root and tip airfoils, also elevator airfoil. One foam wing severely degraded by time, but can be measured for...

RE: Modelfly Cardinal

I've had two. Good flyer, but heavy. Keep up the speed. The wing is plenty strong, the center is wrapped in an 8" glued pvc center section, after the glued brace is inserted. If you folded the wing,...
