I'm hoping someone can help me. My dad is restoring his first RC airplane that he got as a kid in 1957. I'm looking for an Enya 15 from that time period to give him as a gift. I'm looking for a...

You're right, I thought I had saw a 25 instead of 20 earlier. That plane shows to have a 58" wingspan and this one is 48". But it sure looks like the same design. It is kind of heavy.

I think you are right, doing some searching I found the Twin Air .45, .25, and one mention by someone of a 15. Thanks!

You're right Heliman, the high wing does kind of look like a twin otter.

RE: SR acropro Cutie /cox 09 ?Thoughts?

I have an AcroPro with an O.S. .15 and it is a great flying plane.  Since it is a kit and not an arf I imagine there isn't much to converting it to glow power but I don't know since mine had already...

RE: kyosho zero to glow

I'm not sure what a T-23 engine is, but a .20-.25 engine sounds about right for that weight.

RE: E-Flite J-3 Cub with Saito .30

Thanks.    I want some and I would if they weren't $100.   $45 is about my buying price for the ready mades that bolt on.

RE: E-Flite L-4 Grasshopper Conversion Thread

Cool Wdemon.   How'd you shoehorn that .07 in there?   I bet it will have plenty of power once you get it running right.  I have a TT07 that I haven't been able to get running consistenly.   Did you...

E-Flite L-4 Grasshopper Conversion Thread

I converted this a couple of months ago also. It has a Cox .020 in it with throttle and a 6x3 prop instead of the normal 4x2. I had to make a fuel tank for it, it runs about 10 minutes on a tank. It...

E-Flite J-3 Cub with Saito .30

I got this flying a few months ago. It has a remote glow starter and a remote filler where the fuel cap is on the full size plane. It required some hacking on the firewall, motormount and cowl to get...

Wow I never knew the Sully flight got partial power back either.  Cool video.

RE: Off topic but it is about an airplane

Haha, Wow what a story. That was a miracle. A testimonial to why single engine aircraft aren't as fun at night. But then again apparently geese can do the same thing to a twin.

It reminds me of a...

RE: A Couple of Q-Tees

The plane flies great. Put in about 4-5 flights on it with the Black Widow. Plenty of power. CP you were right, there is just enough time to do everything the plane will do and then climb up high for...

RE: Norvel.074 help

Man that sounds like a bad infection.   Mine stopped the engine but it's healing well.  Kinda funny, when I run my PeeWee with a 6x3 I've buzzed my hand several times and it doesn't hurt at all, I...

RE: My new adoption!

Congrats!   Looks good.   I have that I've never run.   Not sure what I'd put it on, too many other projects ahead of it.   Have a couple of PeeWees and the one I have on a plane runs great.

I used Rustoleum metallic aluminum. It will be a while before fly it so it will have time to dry.

RE: Norvel.074 help

Tried a MA 7x3 today and it made a world of difference.  The engine runs great now, maybe it was also a combination of fuel and the weather and better tuning, but the prop let it rev up more than the...

RE: Norvel.074 help

Hey thanks for the advice.  There is a lot of good knowledge there.  I don't know if this engine was new or used when I bought it so maybe it's still breaking in.   I'll definitely try a smaller prop...
