RE: charging time...?????

Charging at 1C, I guess mine takes a little over an hour (rough guess but it sounds about right).

RE: My MX400-Pro paint job

Well, yesterday was my 1st true flight. The other flights were simple hovers in the street out front of my house. Unfortunately, my receiver started to hiccup and it crash landed. Luckily only the...

RE: Need JR crystal for JR Receiver?

Yeah, you take it apart and move this little wire. Did that but since I wasn't using a JR crystal, nothing worked. Going to get one now. Thanks for the help guys.

RE: Need JR crystal for JR Receiver?

Actually, the receiver works with both JR and Futaba transmitters. It's some brand new one they released. I guess I'll go buy a JR crystal and see if that works.

Need JR crystal for JR Receiver?

The hobby shop guy had no idea but he sold me the JR receiver anyway. I pulled out the crystal for my other plane's receiver (non JR) and it doesn't work. Do I specifically need a JR cyrstal to work...

RE: What makes a surface transparent or opaque?

I'm taking a serious stab here since I've never done it, but as a programmer I know techniques I've used for transparency as it relates to image files. Usually, the developer picks a certain color to...

RE: HeliMax MX400 CCPM heli "build" thread

When the throttle is at low stick, should the swashplate on the MX400-Pro be at the top and as you give more throttle, the swashplate goes down? I know, total newb question but this is my 1st CCPM...

RE: HeliMax MX400 CCPM heli "build" thread

Well, after finally getting everything put together I took it out to the garage to see if it would hover (oh, it's a MX400-Pro). Did it? Nope, unfortunately not. Even at full throttle, it just stayed...

Installing pinion onto motor shaft

I recently purchased an electric heli and I'm at the point in the installation where I have to put the pinion onto the main motor shaft. Of all the planes and 2 other previous helicopters I've owned,...

RE: Putting heli into 3D mode

Hmmm, guess I have to read the manual a little more. Simply flipping the G switch does nothing. If anyone has hints for the Futaba 7CAP concerning this feel free to send them my way. No big rush...

RE: Putting heli into 3D mode

Yeah, that was my plan all along. Normal mode for several flights before I do the switch. The only 3D flying on a heli I've done is many hours in the simulator, but I need to learn how my new heli...

Putting heli into 3D mode

I just bought a 3D capable heli (Heli-max MX400-Pro) and I've never flown anything in my life and I will never crash it....hehe, just kidding.

Actually, I've been flying normal Hummingbird style...

RE: UltraRC 3D Buddy Edge 540 for Afpd

Wow, spot on. I had (note past tense) this plane not too long ago and you've modeled it perfectly. Great job.

RE: A BIG THANK YOU TO----IMPORTANT

Thanks from me too. Its what keep the product alive. Now if IPACS can get a photorealistic scene editor (so we can add collision info easily) then this sim would really take off.

RE: Help Me Build an AFPD Box

If you want to keep the price down, stick to the mom and pop online shops. In other words, don't go to Dell, HP or Gateway.

I usually go to the mom and pop shops even for high end stuff since I...

RE: AFPimportWizard help needed

Nope sorry. Guess I should clarify that. The tool does not convert Reflex aircraft for use in AFPD. Both software packages have their own internal format which is closed (i.e. I don't know what it is...

I have a 3 cell 1500 mAH lipo battery. The charger that I bought for it has about 5 jumpers but the highest jumper setting only goes to 1200 mAH. This charger won't charge...
