Roger, I use FG rods with plastic ends available from the LHS with 4-40 threaded rods. 2-56 is too lite for a rudder as was shown in the Pro Boat hydros. Trust me, twin servos will fit, just takes some creative planning is all. You may have to do a "Z" bend in one of the 4-40 rods to get the alignment right

It was a fun race for sure. I would like to thank Neil and Bob for being my pit crew. I'd also like to thank Zippkit for offering a 20 rigger kit that runs like a bat out of hell with no setup time.

Randall is a hard guy to beat in 20 Mod Tunnel, but I almost had him. I figured out why my tunnel dumped a 1/2 lap before the finish of heat 4. The fuel line came off the carb nipple. From now on, I will use a clamp. The O.S. nipple is short and with the engine moving...

I hit a piece of something that kicked my rudder up in my Zippkit 20 rigger. I lost steering and went into the shore on the victory lap. More damage than normal, but all fixable.

Bill's sport hydro was something else. Great job assistant CD Your always welcome up here. We seen some fast boats. Driving has really improved for everyone. I never seen a bad crash except for radio loss into the far bank.
I kind like Craig's pre-race thinking " another day at the pond"

Just downloaded to YOU TUBE "Crazy" Neil's 20 race and Tim's twin rigger.  Take a look.
Took apart the 12 Rossi and found out that it was junk, needs new piston, sleeve and rod.  For the $'s think we'll purchase a complete new motor.  Plan on switching the GO motor from the mono to the rigger and putting the Rossi in the mono.  Hopefully that will make both boats more competitive.

Craig,
It was great you got the win. The boat runs very well and driving is consistent. Keep it up.

Looking at the vid you can see how the 3rd channel is used. Tim had a 3rd channel I think -but you see what happens if too lean DNF
We had Tom as a spy .I like Cindy's video of the twin ,you see the spy looking in. Did you see a 3rd channel in the .21 Tom ? LOL
I'm going fishing today no rc boats I feel a lot better today. that fall in the retriever boat ,got me good.

Tim was running a 3rd channel needle. His boat glitched because he gave it left. If we can hook on a non race outing, I can get you going especially since you have been adjusting manually.

I have a Spectrum DX3ch and a marine receiver, that has a 3rd channel linear output. Now I can move forward with the 3ed channel setup. Fkysky has no linear throw just forward and back. I have my Boris meter to help with the needle settings. I just received a NIB turn fin from Joe I started with Mike Hughes fin that pulled out 4- 1 " screws- lost to the pond god. I went with the only fin I had in a .21JAE fin. This happened after a launch in turn 2 This is my .45 JAE that has not done a full lap yet. I will add 2 sets of boom clamps to the front and add a bolt to the brass sleeve inside the hull. The clamps may have failed as well.

Bob, Neil, and I ran this evening. I'll share a video once I upload it.

I'm going to run my .12 rigger more Saturday morning. Maybe get out there around 10:00. I'll probably run Sunday too.

Neil said he can't run this weekend. Bob's coming out to run, but I'm not sure when.

Roger, can you make it??

Here is one of Neil's JAE 45 runs from this evening. Sorry about the zooming, I know some hate it, I was trying to get some close-up attitude shots.
