Hey Tom
I saw your ad in the latest Model Aviation. It says it includes a hardware kit if purchased by January 31, 2008. What does the hardware kit include?
Also, how much do you think to ship to Denver? Do you have the red one in stock?
Thanks for your time

Shipping usually runs about $110. I have all colors in stock. You also can have your choice, sheeted foam wings or built-up.
For what it's worth, I've talked to two pilots who have compared this plane to the H9 Extra 260, Aeroworks Extra 260, and Aeroworks Yak that they also owned.
In all cases these pilots preferred the WH Extra. It has no wing rocking in elevators unlike competitors Extras, and they said that compared to the Yak there is no decision to be made at all, the WH Extra flies so much better. I have not really hyped this plane like the competition has, but it's really a superb airplane. I've just been too busy with other stuff to make selling the 35% Extra a priority.

My personal preference is for the built-up wings, I find them easier to work with. You may have a different opinion though, some people think foam wings are stiffer and hold their shape better. I'm not a good enough pilot to notice that.

Got 5 flights on it today, youre right about the wing rock, it doesnt!!!Could have landed it right there.
1st flight no trim needed very neutral.
Cg on the tube may go back a very slight bit.
Consumed about 560mah in 2 flights...gotta love those A123s.
Flies extremely light and true.
Lands easy.
I would say its very very much like the 28% Extra V2 but a bit better.

RE: New 35% Extra 300
Dont weigh my planes anymore, bout 27lbs I would say based on the other 35% I have that weighs 29lbs, this one is most definately and noticeably lighter.
I lent my scale to a buddy who was real happy with his plane...then he weighed it and now he's not so happy but the plane still flies just as good.
This one flies light.
Keep all the goodies off the plane is about the only thing, added CF tailweel and spinner
I dont think I could save anymore weight except 4.5oz in one battery pack so I kinda loose interest after that as theres nothing I could do about it if it weighed more anyway.
You should be close I would think.
You probably will have to use the rear tube position and put stuff forward.

I think you should do all you can to keep the wing in the front tube slot. It will go a long way to keep a plane tracking as best it can to have the longer tail moment.

It might have a slight effect, probably not noticeable by most pilots.
What will have an effect will be being tail heavy or having to add ballast to make it balance. Much better to relocate tyhe wing than to add weight to the nose, but I'd use the front tube if you can make it balance without ballast.
