RE: Jet legend F-4

Roman, I've got the original fiberglass tanks (3 liters or so) so I plumbed a 20oz. sullivan in behind the cockpit to get 7 minute flight with the Titan. The newer tanks are poly and have a lot more...

RE: F-22 (JL) Vector Thrust Nozzles

George, the z- rods must absorb some heat as they protrude into the exhaust flow somewhat, but not hot enough to even deform the nylon servo wheels used as fuse bearings/supports after over a hundred...

Anyone know if there's a nearby RV park or better yet, if motorhomes will be allowed to overnight at Cave Buttes field? Thanks,

RE: JetLegend F-4 Arrived

Just unpacked my JL Thunderbird F-4E. Here's some pics an hour after the truck pulled away. There are some easy to fix details which are off in the paint job, which if you aren't a T-bird kook or...

RE: JetLegend F-4 Arrived

Those pics Duke posted are within an hour of cracking open the carton!

Looks like JL got virtually every detail correct with CAD precision and engineering. Admittedly it's been quite a few...

RE: F-22 (JL) Vector Thrust Nozzles

Here's about the best I can do for a drawing without tearing the jet apart...sorry I'm no artist nor a draftsman but it's pretty accurate. BTW, to align the drive rod output with the bucket hinge...

RE: Liquor Bottles as fuel tanks?

Listen to Gary, he's in the plastic business. There's nothing wrong with PET bottle fuel tanks if you can make them fit your application.

RE: F-22 (JL) Vector Thrust Nozzles

rhallgarth, the JL F-22 is a great flying scale jet that builds relatively quickly. And it's a tough bird with replacement parts available if needed. It's the hands down favorite of the 30 or so...

RE: Lond EZ Turbine, nice new jet
