I took a different approch; I took a block of maple and glued it between the servos, Tapped it to the size required and screwed a custom machined mount in place.The mount it self is an old alum...

sounds cool. I used a paintable stuff sold by bob violet thats called heat shield, works well on wood for hot pipes,on my .91 shrike the pipe is half in and half out the fuse top I coated a 1/64...

Having built many Shrikes with large engines the 91 vfdf was a challenge. Moving the firewall back and the wing forward to find balance. Tank Placement, Pipe heat shield. Wing Srevo's (Jr 8411)
