I dont know what kind of epoxy your useing, but i started useing Sig epoxy because I cant stand the smell of regular epoxy. its GOT to be diffrent cause it dosent have that "burnt tire/moldy closet"...

I know i have put monokote over ultracoat. i'm not 100% if ive used it the other way round. I usually cut roundells or cheverons out of monokote because it has a ceartan stiffness that I find easy...

tower hobbies sells a product called "monokote trim solvent". you buush it on the backside of the piece you want to apply, lay it down where you want it, slide it into position, then squegee it...
