RE: Loaded Question: Why is it that rc pilots ignore flight physics?

I thought everybody knew aerodynamics by the time they were old enough to fly. If you are interested in planes, isn't that the first thing you learn? At least by age 10 right? Do kids not make paper...

RE: FIberglass Mold How to Tutorial

Resin will eat almost all foams. The only foam that is resistant is polypropylene, or "EPP". But it is only RESISTANT, it will still become distorted sometimes. I work in the special FX industry...

forum search feature sucks

Please revise the search feature. It is the worst, most difficult, user unfriendly search ever. I type in "blade cp" and it ignores cp and gives me engine forums. Just make it work like google,...

RE: That's it, I'm selling, I hate the cp pro.

Yeah this heli sucks. E-FLITE SUCKS. I've had this heli a year now now and havent even hooked up the motors yet. It glitches all over the place. Thats when it does get a signal. Replaced the 4in1,...

RE: fastest zagi possible debate begins

I just put in a mega 16/15/3 with jeti-40 in a zagi 400. Stock carbon fiber prop(about to try some apc's). It is reinforced with a glaspar (about 3/8" wide?) added 2" behind cg so it is wider. I've...

RE: Flying techniques: wind

4x4 grips and series 1 blades on a nitro 117 vmax7, I did have a little left turning capability but it was VERY slow, then a gust would come and override it.

RE: Flying techniques: wind

RE: Rotating engine nacelles...

You need cyclic if you are making an osprey, not other vtols. Although the other vtols are horrible.(except for harrier)

RE: Rotating engine nacelles...

Yes, the osprey does have full cyclic control. I havent used pnuematic retracts yet but i was thinking they could control the nacelles. Not sure of strength and weight. This seems like an easy...

RE: New Darth LMH Fuselage A350

You can also use hydrocal or ultracal which are gypsum based plasters for a vacuum form mold. In mass production they will eventually wear down but if you are just playing around they work great. ...

RE: my first helicopter gas lLMH any tips?

Put on training skids, then throttle up until it gets light and wants to slide around. If it slides or turns in one direction, give it some trim in the opposite. If you max out your trims then you...
