About 7meg for about 15-20 seconds [:@]. Good quality but not much good for a website. Took me over 2 mins to down load from email, and that was on a broadband connection.

Archie, we'll see what we can do.

Looks like I will have to make it along on Sunday aswell. See if we can get 3 Capiche harriering down the runway. Coincidentially I tried slightly less elevator on mine last weekend and found the transition from elevator to harrier much improved.

I have finally sprayed my canopy and fiitted it, but the colour match is not too good, I think it was because I tried a yellow undercoat. Because I have the old style cowl rather than the one that fairs into the fuz my trim scheme hasn't worked as well either - but it still looks a heck of a lot better than without the cowl.

Just got back from local TV co where a mate helped me trf some vids to digi format / mpg.

Was real hard to get the file size down.. which they are now - to +/- 4 meg.

Some reasonable clips even though I say so myself !

They will go up on the site soon, but anyone want to see them now ?

Ive got them sorted into 3 x ZIP files but each is about 12 meg so if I can send them in one hit then all the better -

give me your email addresses to [email protected] and I shall mail them back later as a group.

Luke... just sent you one of the zip files...

The resolution aint great and it was the cameramans first attempt at using an inadequate camera quite honestly but if you set your player to max screen you will get a good idea...

Just had a look. Like the blender. Very nice.
Felt you could have done better with that elevator landing and that harrier around though, even though it looked quite turbulent conditons. Either my eyes are going funny, but i could also swear that you were also using the ailerons in that harrier- it was
a bit untidy, but still loads better than mine!
I think Sprink should give you a lesson!

The problem in fact was that there was ZERO wind, so slowing the model was difficult - if you compare the angle of attack on th emodel you will see mine is much more vertical... thats what makes it a little hard... plus I wasnt sticking to a straight line...

Yes please.

I'll send you my home email address tonight Archie for the vids. Sending 12 meg to my office will probably crash the system and upset IT

erm, i love to have them but 12MB is far too big. Is that the smallest you can get it. If youve got the most up to date winzip you can select how small the compression rate. Ive used the maximum (but slowest) to compress a 27MB AFP video to something like 7MB. Try and DL the newest winzip if you dont already have it, its far better.

Thanks Boys - Id like to take the credit but its all down to the designer !

Not bad performance from a cheapo set up - thats only a Magnum 61 RFS in there ! And those orrible 591s.

Motor is now YS63 which is like putting a NOS kit on it ! and I have stripped the model down now ready to accept the new 3010 servos for when they arrive (hopefully) later this month... that should make a lot of manouvres easier.

I had a torque roll video as well - dont know whats happened to that...

Im sure there are better people out there that can do it better thouggh so I shall wait for theirs !

Luke, how do the control throws compare to what you have ?

Got a bit annoyed when i couldent find the video DLs on the fly capiche website[:@] I then switched to a higher res and i realised they were at the bottom of the list. I run at 800x600 so it was off the page. Do you rekon there is anyway of using a scroll bar thingy so people who rn at higher resolution can get at them without having to change all the computer setting, i know it only takes 30 seconds but its abit annoying[]

The control throws on mine are a bit less. Elevator is about 40 degrees. The difference is that it now goes into parachutes very smoothly, but it needs quite a lot of elevator work in the torque roll as a result. Also my ailerons are a bit less too. They don't need to move any more- harrier rolls are very fast indeed. Rolls from upright to inverted elevators are not that crisp though. But i have LOADS more rudder!
I would upload the pics but all the damn usb ports have stopped working[:@]thats technology for you!

800x600 !!!!

Now your avatar makes sense - how do you manage to fly !?

I would have thought IE would GIVE you a scroll bar if it dont fit on one page..

Next time I need some fuel, may get the details from you. If we can order together we may get an even bigger discount.

getting back to not being able to see the movies link.....
the text side of the page has a scroll bar, the links side doesnt. i went to full screen ( F11 ) and got it, but it needs to be coded into the page rather than anything us in lower res's are doing wrong.
