Just like Fox News, I'm just keeping it fair and balanced. And it's being done to aggravate you, which seems to be working very well. Now what part of that do you not understand. I believe that there were some Mark Voters in the other thread as well. Like I said, fair and balanced.
Bill, AMA 4720
Fox News of "We Distort, You Decide" fame?
Are we not getting into politics here? If you can convince RCKen, et.al. that such will be permitted, I'm ready for that big time. You just unfurled your colors, Mitchell. Is it real fun time? [sm=punching.gif]

i suppose that BM thinks that the Commie News Network does any less "distorting" than fox does, and at least fox does still let the viewer decide on their own instead of force feeding the decisions to the viewer.

much like the current EC, with MS on board, does.( an attempt to keep some part of the post on topic)

Toolman:

You might want dial back the accusations of impropriety. There is no reason to suggest this or evidence to support it. Contuniung to do so could be considered liable.

There, are ya happy now?

Lets put it this way, I don't trust anybody thats got control of other peoples money.

If the ama doesn't like that, they can kick me out an I still don't give as hoot. The field owner has ins., I have ins. an I can still fly all I want to. I don't care about going to other fields except to watch, an I dang sure don't need their chock full of ads magazine.

Stickbuilder, This thread is RE: Why I'm Supporting Mark Smith. What part of that do you not understand?
Khemo, somewhere between Tomorrowland and Future World is a special place known as Fantasy Threadland, where all posters to those threads are in perfect allignment with each other and where you don't have to engage your brain to do anything more than repeat the same one line message over and over like a chanting Budhist Monk.
In Fantasy Threadland, all candidates will tell you in the blink of an eye how much of your money got spent on various programs and where that money was spent.

You nmight not find it here, but if you keep punching keys, I'm sure that you will someday find your Fantasy Threadland.

Robotech, it is called LEVERAGE! How in Hades do you think Lyndon Johnson got some 280+/- bills passed through Congress during his final few months. Those bills were social bills that have forever broken the back of this LATE GREAT Country that now everyone (except a very few) thinks the government is simply a golden goose laying golden eggs for the non-productive and the super rich. LJ had a file on every congressman including all those that owed favors and those that had certain misbehaving the congress person would not wish to become public.

Yes, as an elected representative, I will use LEVERAGE if and when it provides that which the constituency elected me to do. IMO, the likes of you will do the same any time the situation is for YOUR PERSONAL benefit.
RC involved AMA Members needed those frequencies. If the EC passed over the one real opportunity to finally get the freqs. released, I would have definitely advised the AMA membership just who did and who did not stand in the way. Fortunately, the majority agreed with me, and a few opposing personalities were able to revise their thinking to determine their most beneficial course was to go along with the others.

"He who joyfully marches in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would suffice."

Good Lord, where to start.

Leverage? At what point do you put a limit? You could use the term "leverage" to justify just about any form of coercion from threatening retribution to a hood leveraging the contents of your pockets by holding a gun to your head. What happened to honor, fair play and trustworthiness? It really surprises me that you, of all people, would take this tact. It doesn't jive with your self proclaimed Captain America image.

Anyway....... You use LBJ as an example of some one who accomplished his goals using leverage gained by accumalating dirt on his opponents. What does that mean? You leveraged the EC with exposure of their dirty laundry? Maybe your diatribe on LBJ was just out of context and you weren't comparing it to your actions in getting the EC to go along with your will.

Emphasized text from quote-

"The likes of you"? What exactly is "the likes of me?" How would you have any clue?

The "likes of me" donates time and money for the benefit of his flying club with no expectation or desire for recognition or my personal benefit other than to assist in building and maintaining a first class flying site for all our members to enjoy.

You have no idea what the "likes of me" is Skippy. I'll tell you one thing about the "likes of me" and that is this. I don't allow myself to be bullied by "the likes of you." The "likes of you" are common place through out the workforce and society in general. They keep their allies through fear and intimidation. When they are called on it they usually show their true colors and cut and run leaving their minions to fend for themselves. Their allies are generally of the ilk of the people you indict with your AE quote.

The "likes of me"? You'll probably never know for sure unless we should ever meet face to face. If we do, please feel free to attempt to "leverage" me. Then you'll see "the likes of me."

OOOHHH!!! Looks like I struck a chord there. Got your panties in a wad now have you, robotech? Well as I predicted, the "likes of you" will do the same any time the situation is for YOUR PERSONAL benefit. Here you are trying to apply some PERSONAL benefit leverage using PERSONAL threats.

just one more reason to vote for Mark Smith. The juvenile behavior of Horrace is not what I want to represent me in the AMA. The Lemming, Hossfly, has followed yet again and not led. Yet another opportunity for him to not attack someone and be an adult and when givent the opportunity he jumps on someone. MARK SMITH has my support still.

In case no one else noticed, I'll point out that HC has side stepped answering another direct question. This guy's better than Fred Astaire.

Give a cutsie reply and hope it all goes away.

You can take it however you wish. It was not intended as a threat. Just notice of what to expect if you try to bully the wrong person.

Ah, yes, hdwideglide03, another name-caller with nothing but attack on a personal level. If I am the lemming, then are you not jumping a bit yourself, mr. rocky mountain canary?

Thanks for making this stuff a bit of fun every so often!

Thanks for the complement RT but I just wish. [sm=red_smile.gif]
I never could even master any of the CW line-dances. Other than the TX Two-Step, a nice waltz, and/or a few Western Swing steps I could not do well on the big floor.

So what was your DIRECT question? If it concerned LEVERAGE, that is not too hard.

1 : the action of a lever or the mechanical advantage gained by it
2 : POWER , EFFECTIVENESS <trying to gain more political leverage>
3 : the use of credit to enhance one's speculative capacity

Great little thing. Ever change a flat tire and use a handle to pump the hydraulic jack. That's leverage. When I was a kid of 14, working in the log woods, I used a long handle with a hook on one end to turn logs over and get them in position. That was an example of "leverage". In my later years, I was able to get a good deal on 100 acres of land because I had cash in hand so to speak the seller had another note coming due of over $150,000.oo in another venture, and I knew he needed a quick cash infusion, so I got the 100 acres for $250,000.oo rather than the $400,000.oo he was asking for. That is using financial leverage. When I had teen agers, sometimes I had to stick the car-keys in MY pocket. That is a form of leverage. [sm=48_48.gif] Hey, just think of how the ultra-rich just leveraged our Congress (you and I) to bail themselves out of their little self-made problems. Ol' Richard Fuld milked them for 480 million Washingtons just for himself. Not a bad day's work! [:@]

So what else do you wish to know about "Leverage"? It's used every day in so many ways.

As usual Mr. Cain you have missed the boat. It is amazing how you try to turn things around. Your actions are just like a lemming. You follow suit with the attacks, but of course you don't understand that because your are Horrace Cain, the man who won't be told what to do. LOL, whatever !!!!!

You claim to be this great leader but all you do is continue to support all of the childish bantering in here. Instead of trying to lead and be a mature adult, you hop right into the childishness and follow You can't help it because you aren't a leader. A leader would be able to control himself and respond back to negativity with out being a jack @&* and answer somesone's question that doesn't support your views without being a jack @&* You get more bees with HONEY than you do vinegar and you are definitely the vinegar. Being a leader requires you have people skills and you definitely don't have that.

As far as your question about attacking you on a peronal level. I haven't stepped down to your level and attacked you. Nor will I. I don't know you, nor do I wish to know you.

I voted for Mark Smith.

It seems to me that the more Horrace posts here, the more examples we get of the thread topic.

I don't think he's figured that out.

OK. I will bold the pertinent direct questions for you to reply to.

Oh, and on the dancing thing. I'm with you on that one. All the rhythm was bred out of my family genes generations ago.
