I am second rate lol . Look who's talking. Just like you are in the minority with everything in this hobby. You call rcg second rate because they will not allow your type . RCG is the best site and that is why everyone is headed over there while this site is dying. By the way flying consists of showing up at the field more than once per month to complain about were the club is heading. Your kind is all about gone which is going to make flying at club fields fun again. Have a nice day glad I don't know you wished I never spoke in your bottom feeder thread. You have corrupted my happy thinking with your negative attitude SMC

You can really admire someone who bases his opinions, choices and attitude on what everyone else is doing, or on what is more popular
.
Assuming that this guy IS a male, I don't understand the issue with engine noise? That's usually a woman's complaint.

There has been considerable discussion on RCU fourm about opting out of receiving Model Aviation. The individual does not want his copy to go to a school, library. He just wants it out of his mail box. Is there any way he can have MA simply not mailed to him or anywhere else?

Thank you for contacting Membership Customer Service. Please respond with the individual's name and AMA number and I will put his magazine on hold so he does not receive it.

I did send her a request opting out of receiving Model Aviation. I also told her that since Red Scholefeld was so interested in my personal business, and since she was comfortable discussing my personal business with Red Scholefeld, then she could inform him of my request, and that I would discuss her conduct with Dave Mathewson. Happy now?

WHat this guy does you a favor and you complain about it? Did he piss in your bowl of cheerios? Now you won't have anything to ***** about? Geez stick....you could say thanks for helping a fellow r/cer. Maybe he was a sick of hearing you cry like a baby about it as I am. I damn near called them for you since all you can do is come on public forums and complain. Now what will you complain about? Me for starters I bet. Get over it...it is solved.

P.S. Go ahead and rifle big words at me....I am a sponge for cusses like the ones here. As to answer your spokemans question....there are types.

He has done no one any favors. He's not even the one who found that it was possible to do this. He's just trying to take credit for what someone else posted. Don't you have anything meaningful to do, other than to take up for this boil on the backside of humanity?

When you start a thread on a public forum that goes for over 300 posts P&Ming about getting MA, it is no longer personal business!

It is Bill's business and only Bill's business....he can share his business if he decides to do so but for you to share his business is just plain wrong. Why you fail to see this is exactly why you are a problem here and for AMA.
I may have missed it but I haven't seen where Stick asked you to check on it for him. Further more, the willingness, maybe even an eagerness of the employee to take action based solely on your direction is absolutely incomprehensible.
I would imagine this example is just the tip of the iceberg.

actually, Robo did the favor
and he did it without getting all involved about it.
Compare the simple generic way Robo did it, with the personal involvement of the Red way, and the 3rd party reporting from Muncie... need we a refresher from the Steve Kaluf thread about how tightlipped Muncie is supposed to be (according to some folks)

Yeah, maybe I should give her a list of a couple thousand AMA'ers that I claim dont want their MA anymore.

Well. There ya' go.
Problem resolved. Stick now has the email addy and/or phone number of the man that can make his wishes come true.
You can call or email.
You can make this public but we would much rather have the magazines donated to schools, libraries, doctors office etc…
This is just one way for us to spread the news of this great hobby.

What does surprise me is that a staffer at AMA would indicate that they are ready to take such action based on a third party communication, and nothing directly from Bill.
That shouldn't happen.
My guess is that he or she was just trying to be helpful, and thought that they were doing the right thing. The details of a members "account" with AMA should never be changed, though, without direct authorization of the member. I hope that he/she doesn't get into trouble over this, beyond being made aware that the actions jumped the gun a bit.

You buy them books, teach them to read . . . . and they still chew on the covers!
