Hieveryone I have a eflight blade 400 that I was flying the other day then I had a hard landing and broke the landing gear. So I replaced the landing gear and hovered it but there was a lot of vibration and the helicopter wanted to go to the left really bad and I had to push the stick to the right to get it to fly right. I then replaced the main shaft and there are no vibrations now but the helicopter still goes to the left. I pressed the trim a few times on the dx6i radio but it doesnt seem to fix it. any suggestions.

Did the blades (main or tail) touch the ground. Remove one and using an an hex driver, turn the bolt. If not turning straight, you might have bent a feathering shaft (try both font and back). Next will be the main shaft, but if it was only a hard landing and the blades didn't touch the ground, it might not be the case. Check that the tail shaft is straight. I agree with checking the servo operation and the arms that connect them to the swashplate are not bent.

I checked the servo connectors there is one that is slightly bent you canonlyjust notice it. The bladesdid nottouch the ground,I have replaced the main shaft because the other onewas bent. How do I check the tail shaft is straight.

I would just eye ball it. Either that, or you could take a straight edge and lay it on the tail shaft. If it's straight, you'll see no gaps between the shaft and the straight edge.
But since you have identified one problem, I would replace that servo connecting arm and see what that does for you.

When you say the helicopter goes to the left, Do you mean the nose rotates to the left or the helicopter tilts towards the left?
You may have already done this but with the throttle hold switch on move the servo's slowley at first and check for smooth and constant movement. I have had servo's with a broken teeth on the drive gears and caused me simular problems.

I noticed that swashplateisnot level and it is tilted slightly to the left, could this be why its not flying right. What if I just made the pushrod on the left longer, so that it is level, would that fix it.

servo and gyro question
Hi Guys
Just got a B400 after doing the cx2 bit, read all the threads about the recommended mods and I have two questions 1st i`m in the process of changing the servos replaced the collective with hs65 but I also have a few brand new e-rc 8grm servos on hand, are they better than the std e flite servos and can I replace the other servos with them? and for gyro i was able to get a Hitec HG 5000 gyro with matching hgh spd servo, will those items do? by the way I find these threads to be a wealth of info,I`ve already done other mods such as 9 tooth pinion,t-rex 500 lnd gear ect.
