I have to stay out of the school yard behind me or go and take off and land on the baseball field. Seems they like the grass real long these days, on a 30 size machine it just cuts the grass... hahahaha....
I have to find some length of that tubing, I keep losing pieces of it...
I was hoping someone had a similar problem and already figured it out, saving me the trouble...
One more ???? What's the biggest LiPo we can fit?

I use Thunderpower and Id suggest going no larger than 1320 Mah. Any more capacity than that and youre adding more weight than you want

Hahaha... Fixed my own problem.... Covering was cut on one of the blades and I turned the gain on the tail mix a tad... Still getting used to it, I've only flown about 3 packs and hoped around for 2 getting used to the machine...
Anyone use the MaxAmps packs? They have the 1500 pack that's a tad bit longer...

OK new Q. Hopin someone can answer this. Im now flying the CP Pro and I bought a Spektrum DX6 because I want it for my parkflyers but also because it can be used on micro helis such as the Pro. BUT, being able to adjust the throttle curves doesnt concern me much because even if I do fly 3D its only gonna be rolls and loops so the curves arent gonna matter a whole lot.
On the CP TX there is the slide beside the throttle so you can idle up, on the Spektrum there is no such trim adjustment for the throttle. So my Q is how do I trim up the throttle??
If there is a way to trim up the throttle then what do you do in the event of a crash to quickly shut it down??
I would really like to see a setup guide for the Spektrum to be compatable with the Pro.

The throtle trim is more like pitch trim but if its all the way up you have to do the trim and the stick so if u want to trim it higher you can make the pitch links a little longer and leave the trim at the bottom so if your in a crash you will only have to move the stick back.
Hoped this helped

But if I have my throttle full, then raise my trim up, not only does it increase pitch slightly but it also raises my headspeed more. Correct? So what I was concerned about is that what if I needed that extra throttle that the trim produces?? Or is there a setting on the TX that will increase my throttle a little more than the stick normally produces? Does that make sense?? I know what I mean but its hard to explain. Hope this is fairly clear

As far as I know yoo can't get more head speed but by making the pitch links longer you will get more lift and will make your throttle stick have a higer max lift.

So if Im in idle up mode , sliding my throttle trim to the top wont increase headspeed?? This is what I was wondering about but couldnt seem to word it before. Brain freeze I guess

I'd imagine that it would but im not shur. There is a dial on the Tx that will change the head speed when the stick is at 50% but I don't think it changes the total head speed.

Hello Everyone,
I’ve seriously been considering purchasing one of these, BUT just reading this forum and some others, (and also reading between the lines) are these heli-s any good?[>:] They look great on paper, BUT what is the reality, do they stack up? I hope so, the concept is great.
Cheers Ralph.

I an new to flying so I don't have any other helis to compart it to but I was in the same place you were and I went for it and I love my heli. I am already flying and all I have done is damage some blades (still useable no vibration)
I would recomend this heli strongly but I would also recomend getting an extra lipo

I just redid my CP Pro, because the tail shaft was cracked and now it wont lift off. I replaced the entire main body, and installed the electronics correctly, but the helicopter just wont go up. I fower it up to full throttle and full throttle trim and it still wont go. The tail gear is warped, but im going to fix that, and it shouldn't affect the main blades. When i turn it off, the pitch seams to seem a little negative.

Some how you don't seem to have positive pitch, can you dis-connect the motor and check for positive pitch with a pitch guage?
I dont have a PRO!! What are the specs?? Do they run minus 10 degree's and positive 10 degree's like most other heli-s??
If you have good head speed it must be pitch!!!
lets us know the outcome.
Cheers Ralph

i believe in normal mode its -2 to +12 and idle up -12 to +12, its just that its not getting the higher pitchs. Anyway i can manually change that?

Wingman, I'm not trying to insult your intelligence here, but I made this mistake. Is the motor plugged in reverse? If you want a fool proof way to test, get a light leaf or piece of paper. Place it below the the blades. Bend the paper or leave to a tee pee shape, as this increases surface area. Then when you spool up, if the leaf goes shooting up, its reversed, if it gets blow away, the polarity is not your problem.
