I too am off work ATM, gone 7 hours south to a small country town of like 8000 people to visit the missus' dad. Ain't much to do here

I've brought along my heli's and planes so when all the pleasantries are done I can fly a little here and there .

I've been wanting a RC drift car, like the Tamiya one but don't really have anywhere to use it as it's like 4-500mm long :O yah I know, HUUGE

Need to try and find a decent drifter that's A LOT smaller so I can still burn around the house, something sayyyyy 200mm.

That bloody second hand mCP X I got for $60 is fingered man, the tail goes flat out the second you connect the battery. Not happy Bud, gonna hafta to locate a new Mosfet and attempt to replace that lil tiny component on the main board. It's unusable as it is so what's the worst that could happen ..... It still doesn't work

Ahhh well, ya win some ya lose some. If I can manage to change it out it will still be a good deal.

RE the rc car. I just want one that works. Im continually having problems with the gears not meshing and slipping on the losi. So i will get that hobbking turnigy 1/18. It will only cost me about $80 and the lipos are only $6 each or i could use some i have hear. Alot of my parts of the losi i can use.

We have a prop rc car track near by and it would be fun to go up there and have a go once in a while.

Anyways time for a nanna nap i think.

I got a case of carlton dry fusion lime beers last night and there not bad but im a bit dusty today.

I give full up elavator and wot when lauching my bear its works great. where you went wrong is giving it full up... but not enough throttle hehe never mind.
its a learning curve with the bear first time i lauched mine ,i snapped the prop of too !

good to see you in hear kris. My throws and rates on the rare bear where as much as she can put out. Yes i didnt throttle up enough but the throws and rates where far to high for the launch.

My LHS is taking forever to get me this prop. I might just order some online and it will prolly get here quicker.

Anyways ive had me nap and it just hit beer o clock here. I might have to go round to my ex's later full of liquor looking for a fun time.

Always works for me mate ! full rates on launch up elavator wot.... and throw just staright and up she goes off nicely then switch to a lower rate, dont know whats happened to you dude but if you dont use some elavator she nose's in.

I took my mcpx out for a spin yesterday. Theres a soccer park down the end of the street. Well I had a great flight. Was a bit breezy and she was bobbing around a bit.

I jammed another lipo in her. I was trying some funnel and boom she went down. I ran over to her and trust me to find the only water on the park. She got a little dunk. I quickly blew off all the water and shaked her violently. I tested it and it had the jitters at first but then she came good. I was so happy. My mums partner was so impressed with my flying.

I love this little mcpx. Say meebo mine bobs around in the air. Would getting the better alu head and some carbon blades help with this?

Anyways havent had any luck with the ex yet. Hopefully I will see her Wednesday.

BTW Kris im sure when i get a new prop for the bear she will be screaming through the air. Ive taken my time with her as I want to keep her in one piece.

Tell bud I was hoping to get a wave in while up here but it looks like its only a small ripple in the ocean and only good for a long board.

I wont be back on the rc groups till mid NOV at what time we will have a welcome back big stally wally celebration. If that clown gets me banned again I will personally drive to his front door and knock his head off.

Im still running the original blade grips that they said had problems so that might have something to do with it.

We did goto the beach the other day but it was blown out and really small. Only good for longboards.

Its so bloody boring in the country but its been good to have some time away. Going to see my grandfather for dinner tomorrow and I love hearing all his stories. He is such a champion and he inspires me allot.

Keep an eye out for a cheap used micro sbach for me. I so want one. Simple and fast. I like the fact you just jam a lipo in em and off ya go.

This looks like the perfect micro plane. It has a huge rudder. Looks like it will even out do the micro sbach.

All I want to know is what spektrum RX I can use as the servo connectors are different.

Can you guys ask BUD what RX I can use for it and what size spare props I can use on it.

I would love to get an order in by the end of the day.

just ordered that slick 360 3d and some 180 2s lipos to fit it and some other stuff from HK

cant wait to fly this little bad boy now.

well it looks like this new durafly slick 3d micro is only a few grams heavier then the umx sbach but it has a more powerfull motor by 500kv. The durafly's wingspan is a fair bit bigger though at 490mm vs 432mm.

It will be quite interesting how these two planes stack up.

At the moment the only noticeable difference I can tell is that the durafly wont have the side force generators.

Cant wait to fly this bad boy.

BTW the ex has the monthly's so lets hope she likes smoking cigars lols

This gee bee looks decent but it only has a 2s brushless 3000kv motor so it wont be as quick as it should.

I will be interested to see how that silly hyper taxi sells.

well the red one aint available right now. I got the blue one. I ordered 8 2s 800mah flightmax lipos too but it looks like i should of ordered more as you only get 2:30mins flight time with some 3d flight.

Oh well the ap05 has been proved to be a great motor in the custom upgraded umx beast so it should do this slick 3d well.

Did you find a second hand dx6i yet BJ? I wouldnt pay anymore then $80 for one myself.

Yah - that's the sort of $$$ I'm looking to pay.

It's not urgent - wan't one as a Buddy Box for helping a coupla lads who are interested in flying...

unfortunately the trainer port in my dx6i never worked from the start when i got it. Mine was used but i think i only paid $100 a few years ago for it. Once you have done the lipo mod on it then they are great.

I really hope this little slick 3d is the plane i hope it to be.

BUD is about to order his as we speak.

I still have yet to fly my rare bear as well. Had it a month or two now and she still aint gotten airbourne

I think my last HK order i ordered some props for her
