I just got pinned with 2 points in RCG from September 15th way back on page 105.

Didn't even get a chance to edit them to make the points go away immediately and now I can't post.

The rules state that a ban is only enforced when you reach 10 points but I only have 5 and yet I can't post, not even in the Moderation Appeal section as I was going to have a go at pinning me for something from almost 2 months ago totally unrelated to our previous issue's and not giving me a chance to fix it before issuing the points.

Sent off a PM regarding the whole banned after 5 points when rules state 10 so we'll see what happens there.

Ive been looking into the mcpx brushless mods for the last hour or so. Its bloody expensive and not quite sure its worth it for me yet. Im still undecided. Its going to cost me the best part of $200 at least. Hmm maybe the brushless power might cause me to crash more.

I think ill have to sleep on it for a while.

You must be looking at the frame also, just mod the stock frame, all you have to do is cut it a little to make the new motor fit.

Yeah I know BJ ive owned a blade sr CP heli before and didnt have much luck with it. The mcpx is very simple to fly.

I just wish mine had a little more head speed. Theres slop in the head as well. I dont think I have it set up right but to be honest I dont really know what im doing.

I cant run anymore then 60% pitch on mine otherwise it bogs down big time. Oh well. I have fun flying circuits down the park.

Maybe a new swash and head might help it.

Im pretty keen to get my rarebear flying but the idiots at my LHS have taken almost 2 months now just to get me some apc props. I have some coming in my next HK order so I will just wait till then.

BTW BJ I had a 35-30 1700kv motor here and I slapped it on the hyperion snyper. I used that amp meter thing ive got and tested out some props on it. With a 10x5 it was pulling 41amps. 8x6 was 33amps. 8x4 was 29amps. I have a 30amp esc on it as well but the 8x4 was giving the bird enough thrust.

I have a park 480 motor to go on it but i stuffed the shaft and ordered another one but the idiots at the LHS havent got it for me yet.

well it looks like the clowns have some 5x5 and a 6x5.5 prop down there but they couldnt get my shaft. Shame I have no money at the moment.

I went down stairs and was messing around with my mcpx and this little kid was walking past and I lost concentration and bingo into the cement. Busted off blades grips. Lucky these are still the original blade grips on it. I put the new blade grips on it, the ones HH sent everyone and it seems to take some of the slop out of the head.

Its a bit gusty here now so I might wait till my mate comes up and go over to the park and see how she flies now.

I think I lost of bit of power by cutting off the lipo cable with an ultra micro one then I went and put the original one back on and just bent the pins in a bit.

I dont think my mcpx has exact ZERO pitch but its pretty bloody close.

I hate to say it BJ but those other W crowd already have a brushless micro with 6 axsis gyro but i just cant do it captain!!!

I'm hearing ya mate, there's been many a times I've thought of buying W heli's as they seem to tick all the boxes RE: specs but lack in parts availability and reliability. Two pretty important things unfortunately.

I agree bout starting a new thread Stal but it still won't stop the idiots as they can and DO simply go into our profiles and click on "Find all posts by Meebo" and it does exactly that.

So we still won't get away from them. Really the ONLY way to do it to create new user names which won't happen.

But, like Meemblz said, it won't stop the stalkers.

All they have to do is click on your name, go to your profile, then click on "show all posts by Blah" and they're tracking you again.

There's no such thing as "private" threads on RCG, afaik...

Yeah I thought the fag had given up till now but I suppose that little quiet period was because he was offline. Had no activity for a couple of weeks then sure enough he returns and so does the points.

What I don't get is why the mods don't pull him up for obnoxious reporting. What's the bet he uses a couple of user names to get away with it or he knows the mod.

That's why it's best kept offline and out of the groups.

The only way you can do that, Stal, is if there's a chat site that has 'private rooms' - where the "mod" can decide who comes in and who doesn't.

Used to have them in the old BBS and ICU days (or whatever - that long ago, I don't remember which now)...
