Looks great, Chris! Now that I have my motor and a little spare time I think I may actually be able to start work on mine...

My guess is that's going to be a pretty big upgrade for you. I expect it to be pretty good. Good luck and by all means please keep us posted on your progress. Thanks, Mike

Chris - Looks great! I like the new color scheme. Don't forget I've got that Sata MiniJet if you want to use it.

Take care,

Thanks Jon. I may swing by at the weekend and borrow that gun from you. Sounds much better than my gun. I did some reading on it.

Mike, yes, huge upgrade from and Abbra. I'm looking forward to joining the big boy club. lol I'll keep the thread posted.

John, they are super easy to build. You should by one, or two. I know I am getting another one for sure. Just trying to decide if I want to put a Pletty in it, and I think I do.

Chis,.

Those are really nice planes,........your is looking good! I should get a chance to fly one in next weeks at the Farm contest,...Larry K. and Chis Moon's home field. I flew the Addiction (Chis Moons) and loved it,...I am now EP also. I want to fly both to see what differences I can pick up between the two.

I have a VF3 on EP with'a Pletty in it and one on a YS,...really like the EP version of the VF3 also,...but I also want an Addiction or the E-Motion to boot.

Nice Job,...!!! Derek,..thanks for posting the WC photo's and the updates. How's the Bipe doing?

Mike: I picked up a Plettenberg at the WC's... Chris Moon is importing them now for the US but doesn't have any stock at this time.

Thanks Steve!

I can't hardly wait to fly it. Probably test fly it on Sunday if I can get everything done except the paint. Of course, I will have to redo the rudder pull pull when I paint, but I need a plane as I crashed the Abbra again. lol.

Not sure I will attend the nats next year, the wife said it's the timeshare in Hawaii or the nats. I am putting up a fight that the nats is more fun, but not sure she's buying it. Heck, it is more fun though!

My other thought is to skip next year, and attend the world and the nats the next in FAI. I may move to FAI next year, but only if I beat Frak this year at the district contest. lol I've got a long way to go, but I feel I have the right plane now. We'll see.

You all E yet?????????????????????? You sure were flying good with it at the nats!

Well I sure hope that you will make it to the Nats next year. I was thinking about making the trip to see the 2011 worlds also.
Im not E-powered just yet but it was nice at the Nats. We will see what happens though.

Ok, I'm not ignoring you now...

Thanks for the comments, Bill. The bipe is sitting on my workbench gathering dust at the moment. I have not had any time to work on it since the center cabane broke off - I've gotten a replacement strut set that I will put on but right now my focus is to finish the e-Motion and then to finish the Neptuno which will be arriving in the next month or so.

Derek I hope you start a building thread on the Neptuno.
Will it be E. or IC? Mike

The 1st Neptuno will be IC and either myself or Adrian Wong (Riot3d) will definitely do a build thread on it... the next one will be E and I'll will definitely do one on it. The biggest difference between the two will be plug in wings vs a one piece wing and a removable canopy to access the fuselage to put the batteries in.

Does that mean you'll take $1500 for your Emotion Derek?

Joinin' the club!

So I couldn't resist. Shoot me. I bought an E-motion even though I'm barely capable of the Intermediate sequence.

None the less, I have coordinated a purchase and build of an E-motion and can only hope that the builder will post some progression shots along the way . . . plus I happen to know that another E-motion is in the "skunk factory" paint shop right now and hopefully the "boys" will leak a few photos there as well.

As one of the few dedicated 2M e-machines available today, I can't tell you how excited I am to fly this machine! Hurry up C.M.

Joe there are two in the work, one E-Motion and one Addiction. You'll just have to stay TUNE IN. Gald to here you got one, just hope it doesn't help your flying to much otherrwise I'll be in trouble next year. You did great at the Va. contest back in Sept.

Ah that work shop looks familiar. Yepa I heard today that's coming along fast. At this pace it will be done before the other one's. The paint shop is on hold for at least a week. Going to try to paint at same time. What are you going to use for power?

Can't wait to see the next step!
