Hey Matt,

Yeah I love my 12X for its feel and programming. Seems weird about the loose battery on a +$1000 radio, but like you said "its fixed".

As for the packs, I wish I had more No seriously though I bought 4 last year and 4 this year so it wasn't all that terrible plus the blue set I got on loan to "break in" and test. The Rhinos are tolerable at $130 or so a set while the TP kills me since they get upwards of $300 for a 10S set that most definitely does not outperform the Rhinos, but then the weight difference is a major factor as well. The good news is my E-Motion makes weight no matter what battery I use, and as long as I pay attention to where I place the different weighted batteries to keep the CG the same I don't notice a difference when I fly. Of course my Intermediate stick skills aren't all that discerning yet anyways.

Does anyone have any up close and personal pictures of the elevator servo mounts. I have never put elevators in a stab before. looking for good clear pictures.
Probably going to use JR 3421 servos
Thanks

I just completed a "2 servos-in-stab" set-up on my latest design. I also used 3421s. It concentrates about 87 grams (3 ozs) to the tail, so make sure that your plane can tolerate that much tail weight. Turned out mine did not and I ripped the set-up out for the sake of tail lightness. The photos I have are not descriptive enough unfortunately.

What exactly do you think you need? Maybe I can describe it to you in PMs. Basically I put the servos into sockets cut into the stab. The stab was about 1" thick at it's thick section so the servos fit flush with the surface of the stab. It was a little tricky fishing the wiring back there since I don't have a plug-in stab, but I made it work

I bought this plane partially assembled. and the stab is already cut out for servos. Not sure on how to mount the servos. routing the wires is no problem it does have a plug in stab.
