Does anyone know about this site? Good place to order from? They have good prices and would like to know if anyone has had anything bad with them.

Hope this helps.

This is a copy and paste from the BBB.org

Company: XHeli.com a.k.a. Zhobby, Company: Raiden Technology, Inc., Company: Nitro Model Planes
Address: 13240 Amar Road, City of Industry , CA 91746 All addresses are the same.
Rating F Our opinion of what this rating means:
We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations.

BBB link:http://www.la.bbb.org/BusinessReport...nyID=100056369

It is known to the hobbiests that all 3 companies are one and the same thay also have the same phone number, which is almost never answered.

I don't know if they took note of all the complaints before and have changed their ways . but I bought an EXI450 from raidentech with absolutely no problems with delivery or quality.
I would do buisness with them again.

Agree with everything Disney1 said, but I also want to mention that I had no problems with the very first helicopter order I ever made that was from Xheli. I ordered my original HBK2 from them (because I hadn't read all about their bad reputation yet) along with some spare parts - and everything arrived in perfect shape. Generally for anything they sell, you can find another company such as U.S. Hobby Supply ( Michael at http://www.ushobbysupply.com/ ) or Castle Rock Hobbies ( Rusty at http://www.castlerockhobbies.com/ ) that will also sell it - with the wonderful reputations that these companies have for excellent customer service and support. No real need to take a chance on Xheli, when you can do business with one of these guys instead!

I'm a "customer for life" with U.S. Hobby Supply because Michael is 29 miles away and has gone out of his way to provide unbelievable service and support to me! He even came to my house to deliver one of my early orders from him, and to help me fix a problem I was having repairing my HBK2 after its first crash - even though I didn't even buy it from him. A couple of months ago, I even visited him at his house and got tons of fantastic help setting up and adjusting a bunch of upgrades I'd put on (Logictech 2100T HH gyro, Dx6i, new brushless motor, etc.) - pretty fantastic support from a "web only" business! Highly recommended!

I have not yet had the pleasure of doing business with Rusty at Castle Rock Hobbies, but would do so in an instant from all that I've read and seen about the great service and support he provides too! I don't think you can go wrong with either of these guys! They spend a lot of time in these forums and are always glad to help others via PM, e-mail, and telephone. If everyone ran their businesses this way, we'd have a perfect world!

Cheers,
Dave

I just bought the EXI450 from Xheli, received it in 2 days with no complaints. I had heard of so many horror stories about Xheli and their 5 other alternate sites that I was wary. When I started hanging out in the EXI forum, not one person had a problem with ordering form them, so I did, and will again. They have the most insane low prices on the EXI at $99.00 for bare-bones. When a holiday comes around(Halloween price was $79), they are usually $69-$79 with free shipping(type Xheli free shipping in google for a new code)...can't beat it.

I have ordered 3 birds.
About 15 orders for parts.
Had a problem once with one of the helis (manufacturer issue).
Sent it back, got my money back without any problem.

The one thing I have noticed is the only people I ever see saying bad things about them are only repeating what they have heard.

Well when talking about 100$ of dollars, it's nice to ask before you order. Found another site on ebay. Anyone know about them???

Ok but with $32 in shipping?? Adds up to $189. Lots of dollars to ship that had better be overnight shipping with same day shipping for that much.

I have ordered two birds from them now. My most recent was received Friday. I placed both orders on a Friday and both orders were shipped out Monday and received the following Friday. I have not received any quicker deliver from any other shops and where I live everything takes at least 5 days unless I spring for express shipping. Xheli also has its own forum do dispute issues if needed (I have not had too)

I would also add that UShobbysupply stands behind their products and Michael will take care of you if there is ever an issue (and them some).

Ok guys
Let me balance the show. I have had problems with them. Servos arrived with cut leads and insufficient quantity of items delivered. They have since changed the manager. Scared of them though.
Cheers

I've not had ANY troubles with Xheli and I've ordered two heli's from them. My latest was an EXI 450 which I got for $69.00 delivered. I ordered another part along with the heli which didn't get tossed into the box with my heli. I emailed them and two days later got an email stating the part was on its way... not to shabby. You have to be careful with BBB info as I've been burned before from companies with good rep's... Like KA Planes. I was placing an order with them but the shipping was going to be $17 - $23... whoa!!! to Canada and the part was a metal tailbox.... 60 - 80 grams... very light. I complained to them about it, saying it was gouging. Got an email back saying I was likely to dumb to use the shipping cart and buh bye, you've been removed from our site as a customer. GREAT customer services there... NOT!!!

Bottom line... use common sense when ordering from some place... like the Ebay place mentioned... this guys sold 248 items and has 100% feedback so ur going to be pretty safe. The BBB info... use it carefully and its the wise thing to ask around here what the shop was really like based on experiences and not hear-say.

I have also ordered from Raidontech a few times with no problems. Back before Ushobbysupply.com was started. Now when I do order Michael gets most of my business if he stocks what I need.

i agree with the above UShobbysupply is a great site to deal with and they have super fast shipping!! I use Xheli for parts sometimes (only when US doesnt have it) i'd never buy a heli from them though.

Got my EXI MA450. Had a stripped out tail rotor hub. Sent them a pic and they promptly sent out a replacement. USHobbyshop has great customer service with great response time. He was even answering questions when he was out of town! Its that type of personal touch which makes a repeat customer. Either way, I'd shop both again.

For us, the company has been good. All that we have bought, there has not been a problem. The purchases that I have made over $50 have always been free shipping. Wonder why so inconsistent with others? Makes you wonder...

before i purchased my exi from xheli i was very skeptical of them. bad customer service, F rating at BBB...or so i heard. i went ahead and ordered the exi from them anyways. at worst i thought was i would lose 99 bucks + shipping charges. so i pulled the trigger and waited anxiously. but sure enough it arrived 4 days later after the order was placed. nothing was damage or missing. i would not hesitate to order from them again.[sm=regular_smile.gif]

I have two helicopters from xheli. Good prices and quick shipping. If you buy from them, pay with a credit card. Then you can chargeback if it goes bad.

That's true as I have been buying model airplane parts from them for several years and was never aware there was a problem till I came to this forum and heard of complaints however in ANY business you are going to get complaints. It's when you ignore those complaints or do not resolve them or try to downplay them with lame excuses that you lose customer confidence.
On another point though.. as for the BBB [:@]
I do not consider the BBB a pointer to who is good and who is bad. If you pay your dues and give the BBB a good explanation of the circumstances they very rarely will say anything bad about you. IF you are a ex member of the BBB however its a diff story, they have a lot of complaints lodged against them (the BBB) for downgrading business that do not desire to be a part of their network and leave them.
Been down that road with them (BBB) and they paid $$ big time for "downrating" a business that did not see how the BBB actually benifited them and choose to no longer be a dues paying member.

Its like loan shark'n, the BBB, or rather more like pay'n for protection... lol Thats why I don't trust BBB anymore as I got burned a couple times now from companies they've said were highly rated. I do trust those that frequent here and give first hand experiences... not.. well I heard from someone who was told by another guys friend that his buddies pals friend had some trouble with this company...

So I shop either from those I've researched or asked here and other forums about. Sometimes things fall thru the cracks. Bottom line... I've not had any trouble with Xheli so far and when they have a sale on soon for the EXI... I might pick up a couple.
