NOT A 3W OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
ALL I AM SAYING IS THE metering spring will be forced open with the vacuum and yu can make more tention on the spring not muchbut a little and what u are doing if weird airflow on dirafram its not going to open the neadle .
there is a simpler way turn the carb plate around and test as weird airflow is not the same everywhere .
like i said if u want tonow if it is weird airflow put a round bandaid yes baindaid on the dirafram hole the doa test flight .
plus gravity has a bit to play with the metering spring as a knife edge is a high G and the weight of fuel pressing on the metering valve can make it not completly close in so flooding the engine . so a higher spring tention will make the fuel flow more consistant .

Hi 3DSKY

Could you tell me what type of exhaust you have on your DA-50, and where did you get it?

I am using a Slimline Pitts from DA. If my DP Edge had room for a pipe or canister I would have gone that route instead of the Slimline.
