Thanks for sending the manual Milton. Nice, easy to read, and my favorite part, concise.

Sorry, but I can't find any website where this engine would be sold except jc, but they have only a picture with no price.

Could anyone open my eyes please?

In the mean time I am taking advanced order's ,and the order book is filling up, so if you want to add your name to the list, or want more info

Do these engine's have three crank bearings like the DA engine's, just wondering, i know that it costs more money and time but in the long run, it is so well worth it.

I have a DA-50 my very first gas engine that i love, but i have heard alot of great things about the DL-50 as well and it to is a wonderful engine, that DL-100 is an aewsome deal for such a large engine i wished i had room for a plane that large to fit in my toyota priuse, so i am going to check out the da-85 after i have checked it out and read what reviews i can read and i am now looking at the extra 260 from aero-works, not being much of a builder the QB is right down my line, everything is all done just got to put your gear into it, but if i do get another 50cc size engine i am going to try out the DL-50, i think it is a great buy as well as a nice engine, happy flying and thanks so much for your information, that is how i learn about different things is doing alot of reading, TY

Not at all trying to be rude or anything but your post reads as if you thought this was a DL-50 thread? Well anyway if I get another 50cc engine the Area 51 will likely be the one. It's great that the prices have dropped to more reasonable levels with no compromise of power and weight....and reliability.

I recently seen this engine at the chattanooga 3d jam all i can say is what a power house, great mid range and plenty of power. This is definitly one of the higher end chinese engines. Chris hinson was even there to Fly some of his planes with these motors. Well if chris is carrying them there ok in my book.

Thanks lewis

The reports that I am getting from customers is that it is as strong with stock mufflers as other higher priced engines with canisters, just what I am being told.

I have one of the 51's, less than 60 minutes runtime, and it already runs fantastic. Very powerful, easy to start, and quite enough to run without a cannister at my field. Milton, your engineer got it right!

Good work.

Milton and his grandson will even come to flyins and if you need help with you Area Motors. They will set them up tune them. My Area 51 replacement motor set at 6800 rpm on breakin with a Vess 23A was pulling 28.5 # of thrust. My DA 50 on the header, Carbon Fiber Pipe Vess 23A leaned out to 7600 rpm pulled 26.5 # of thrust. My Area 51 is now on 100 to 1 synthetic and it is turning 7200 rpm and I have not touched the highspeed from when Milton set it at 6800 rpm 2 weeks ago.
