For as educated as people think they are there are certain party’s that like to complicate the hec out of something as simple as counting a vote.

check out this 65" span Phoenix Edge 540 for my K&B 100, $210 buks and free shipping.
my K&B only weighs 1.2oz more than my OS 61Fx (both with muffler) and the K&B will turn an 15x6 the same as a FA100

just looking you know

Thanks for the kind words toward Geri and I, it's difficult to watch her being so beat down by the pneumonia and now struggling to bounce back. She makes Lasagna and potato salad that are out of this world delicious. When we go to family reunions her tater salad is a requirement.

I haven't even started on the Rascal 110, I got the new fuse and there it sits. I might finish the Tiger 3 today.

In the early 80's the disparity between two strokes and four strokes was real and about as Lonnie described, but no more. I don't use paper hp numbers, they are useless, I think in terms of Flying Power based on my own experience and that of others.

My son is so eaten up with that, (baby crap) that he verges on being mentally ill.

Dave, no need to attack. You've made it clear already that our flying styles and thus our engine selections differ. If hp numbers weren't useful the formula would never have been developed. There's nothing borderline about my insanity.

Counting is easy. Problem is in concealing the real count.

They have been more than insane!

I don't know about you guys, but when I heard the news the next morning I was, seriously, laughing my A off. Anyhow, that's all I will say on that subject before I get my hand slapped.

Saito anyone?

Yessir! I had one on the test stand and it fired right off and ran great. After 30 minutes I got bored since it hardly used any fuel. Too cold now to do test runs on the other one. Still have a lot of work left to do before they will be needed anyway.

No attack intended, just my thoughts on the matter.

I'm not sure about your sanity, you're one of those Saito drivers.

me too I just know the number’s that are printed are not exactly what work in my eye.
I also believe that every plane has it’s own prop.

well the guy said he is going to send the money Saturday to buy my G B Y,, I got the PM today, saw it tonight, so I PM'ed him back and asked today or next Saturday,

I have not heard from him, it has only been about an hour since I PM'ed him. so we will see I guess.

any hoo,
so I told my son in an Email about the 70" Ryan that Towers sells, he didn't know what the Ryan was so I told him, then sent him the link. then I remembered>>. and told him it was the plane that Harrison Ford crashed in.
he told me I should buy the plane and put Ford in it as a pilot. I told him>> "I probably could get him digitally printed but wouldn't that be an Oman ?".. he wrote back, "yes but it would be fun to talk about at the field" LOL

I don't think that would be a good I idea LOL

Screw? Hell I have a few BOLTS loose! Almost finished the Liberty Sport. Got the tail braces done tonight. Next up, find some thin brass to make some connections for the wing bracing and get those done, and wait for the dope to ship so I can finish the top wing. As it is right now it is ready for it's maiden flight. No Saito in it though, wanted to, but it was too long and would have required rebuilding the firewall to make it fit. Just need to decide now if I should order one of those short glow plug connectors for a remote driver connection so I don't have to reach under to disconnect the driver.

Acdii, your Liberty Sport is looking great! The ys63 will help you burn up some of that high % nitro you've got sitting around too!

What's the AUW of the LS?

I have two planes with this one right now and plan on having hem on everything with a engine completely under the cowl. Best $8 yo can spend!

Hadn't seen that one Mike, thanks. The smaller hole required in the cowl or fuse is always a good thing.

I haven't weighed it yet, still a couple things left like the wing brace wires and finishing the top with doping and decals. I'll weigh it when its done. It is ready to fly though, just need cosmetic finishing.

Yep, I was wondering about the short gp boot. May not fit some OS and Saito four strokes as well. Pretty sure it won't fit my OS fs120, that sucker is in there deep too.

huh, now you got me thinking which engines I have that it does fit. I know it fits the 100 and 125 since I have it in my P-51, and used both in it(not at the same time of course).

I like the idea of having that 1/8"/3.5mm mono jack for connection though. I guess I could buy the tower one (to get the cord and 1 jack) and adapt it to a sonic tronics boot. After that I could buy the sonic tronics system and equip my planes with 1/8" panel mount mono jacks (about $2.50 at Radio Shack). Hmmmm
