Or dropping dead from SIP due to lack of exercise by being cooped up for a year. Rode my bike around the house and had to sit on the tailgate of my truck until I caught my breath and heart slowed down. Wow am I out of shape. Used to ride for miles and barely break a sweat, now I break a sweat just getting the bike out of the garage.

I hear ya there. Splitting wood in winter is my main exercise. The Norwegian Princess may swing the axe, but I have to keep it sharp.

Geez, pay off a car and expect the credit score to go up, only to find it went down. SMDH, makes no sense at all.

I know how you feel my wife has an A score I’d hate to see mine, I make the money and most everything is in her name.

I have an A score, but only because all the money goes straight to her. I don't even know how much I was paid.

Only bought one car on time payments in my entire life! Every other was used, paid cash.

Pedro,

We need to try a sked one night on 75m or maybe 40m . Could try 20m on daytime phone too.
Perhaps cheat and coordinate via text.

Gary
I know I can work Chicago and Toronto on 75 from Texas. I use a delta loop on 75 that works very well north and south. On 40 I also use a delta loop but it works east and west very well. On 20 I have up a 4 element tri-band beam at about 70 feet. Power wise I can run the leagal limit. So we should be able to have a QSO.

I tried to run up the 120r3 in the Corsair today, but found the fuel system isn't working. I had the fill valve plumbed backwards, then after correcting the lines, putting the cowl back on, found the valve pisses out fuel instead of to the carb. Got the engine to run about 10 seconds, until it ran dry.

Will have to replumb to a 3 line setup that I normally do, and look around for my fuel dots, I think i have one that will fit the hole in the cowl where the fill valve was.

Fueling valves can be problematic, both the Sullivan and Dubro ones. The plunger hangs up and lets air in the line, sometimes let's fuel leak out too, depends on the height of the fuel in the tank. 3 line systems with two clunks and a fuel dot are very reliable, all I install now. I do have one old plane with a qwik fill valve, the plunger sticks at the beginning of every season. I work in a little atf and it works pretty much the rest of the season without issue.

This is the 80 I rebuilt, new piston, ring, cam, cam followers, valves and rockers. The large muffler is for a 100, the smaller ?, I don't know. Anybody have a clue as to how I make the choice. Many thanks.

Good eye! It looks like a little steel epoxy used to repair a crack or something.

Early on, I saw TWO Saito 80 break in that area. One was my own, the other was a close friend's. In his case, the case fractured completely at the bottom front bearing bore. On mine, I caught it before the crack got that far along. It looked like Saito had not put a radius at the bottom of the bearing bores in either engine.

"Live and learn", or is it Learn and live?

As you can clearly see that is a figment of the camera's imagination. There is nothing there. Taken with phone and fuzzy.

Well, Clearly theres nothing wrong with that case. Lol

It's a great looking example and should run flawlessly with all those new parts. Do you have a plane for it?

I have a BTE Flyin King ready to cover, it's difficult to do anything with some medical thing nearly every day. Double MRI today, without and with dye.

I had Santa Claus in the big brown truck and uniformed showed up at my place last night and he brought this. I was thinking a Saito .72 or .80 would be a good fit. I have a friend who is going to sell a TF Sea Fury kit I have to finance the project.

Those two 80s were the only two Saitos I ever saw fo anything like that.Looked like perhaps two very early versions and the problem obviously corrected quickly.

Dave, that Flyin King should be a fine mate. Even a 65 would haul that one around well.

Glad to hear everything is going smoothly with the medical issues. Avoiding the surgery a big help.

The MRI went well, the Hydrogel Spacer is exactly where it needs to be, so I think I'm good to go for the first Radiation treatment on the 19th..

I have my 125-a in the PSP with CHI, I can maybe run a rough comparo between CHI and and a Glow Devel plug.

Very nice review of the FG30, thanks for posting it here. The Cessna is beautiful, I wish you luck on your maiden flight.

I couldn't quite make out your name. Gill? Gail? Gawl? Bill?

Lonnie

PS, found it. Welcome to Club Saito Gad!
