Can still get the original Williams Vintage wheels here.

These are the larger 4-3/8" size for a bit less.

There's some fine detail in those wheels. Very nice.

For sure, they are very similar to the original Williams Brothers wheels that had been around for decades. Good to see.

What are you using on the Robin Hood 80?

They appear to be 3D printed as opposed to an intection molded wheel.

I have 5" Dubro wheels on it, thanks. They were north of 60 bucks though. At $24.95 the OSMW wheels are a bargain.

Sounds good Dave.
I was thinking likewise; The 4-3/8" Williams Golden Age wheels were a good deal at $23.95.
If someone is looking, probably won't be seeing many more at that price.

Those big DuBro should work out well.

On eBay today.

Only $2400

How about a new 100ti at 1/2 the price?
Open to offers, any takers?

Hey Gary. If I was a spitfire or a P-51 jockey I sure would love to have one of them things under the cowl!
Shame on me for being a round engine guy that won't accept dummy plastic representations of poetry in motion. The Gypsy Queen would have been better off marrying somebody who wasn't a gearhead.

Also Brotherhood.
The neferious underbelly of society is still alive and well here at our beloved round table. Tried to get me yesterday on a wanted ad for a Waco fuze I am trying to find to rebuild my Phoenix.

LOL, the old "You want it : I have it" scam.
Being played in just about every venue. I had been looking for a particular transmitter on another site. Within the first hour I got three offers. Asked for photos. I was able to find every photo they sent with a web search. The best part was the one fraud who actually sent me a pic of one of my own transmitters that I had posted two years ago!

Looking for a Futaba, Gary?

I have a 12Z 12 channel with a TM14 Fasst 2.4mhz module sitting right in front of me in need of a new home.

Thank you Lonnie, sounds like a fine transmitter.
I do use Futaba but most are 20+ year old 9-C.
My only 2.4 gHz radio is a 10 year old 10J that I use with little electrics. Aside from that one all the others are on 50 mHz, ham band freqs.
Maybe I should buy yours ! Maybe you cam PM a price?

The ad I was talking about was actually for a seventy year old vintage ham radio transmittter that weighs about 400 pounds

Looks like this on the inside. Hallicrafters BC-610, WWII issue.

That's a thing of beauty, Gary. Glow baby, glow. Superb pic.

One of my temporary duty assignments in the USAF was to replace the tube type tropospheric scatter microwave transceivers with solid state radios. 5-50 megawatt billboard antenna stuff. The glow babies were originally installed during the early cold war era on the DEW line. Beautiful old radios and sorry to see them go. I was however happy to leave Greenland after that 6 month tour. Girl behind every tree up there.

Saito must be pretty proud of the 100 Ti.

Hangar 9 P-51 150 version 1. Powered by a Saito FA-200Ti. Great combo!!! Third flight in 10 years. Still breaking the engine in. Stopped flying for a little while and wanted to build my skill back up a little.

Default Saito 150

I'm back to my hobbies in my new shop building. I had been going to the Texas swap meets picking up a few engines while my new shop was being built. Here is a 150 that I picked up for less than it would have cost me for a sandwich at the swap meet. It was totally frozen stuck. A little heat got everything moving again. I totally disassembled it and cleaned it then installed new bearings. It feels very good now. I need to build a new test stand to run it. That will start over the holiday break. I can't figure out what the orange goo is that was inside the engine that got it so stuck. My guess is something that the original owner put in it for after run oil. The picture is from before cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner. It didn't seem to have much run time on it.

My next engine project is going to be a pair of Enya R120 engines.

Pedro

It ought to be a power house, the cam and ring seem to agree with your low run time assessment. Is there an initial on the right lug, I can't make one out? Thanks

I just looked over the engine and there are no markings on the lugs. Does that give an idea of the age of the engine?
