Fantastic Vincent, absolutely fantastic. I hope mine comes out half as nice as that. I hate to sound like a broken record, but I have really enjoyed this thread. My shipping details says my Ryan is due here on the 29th.........I will be referencing this thread often, I couldn't do it any better. Makes me remember why I love this hobby, and respect the people in it.....some of those foamie guys will never understand!

Thanks again all.
It was fun taking the pictures today, Almost eight months to the day I started...
SDP, I have recently purchased two more kits, my next build being a 1/4 scale Sig Space Walker. Once that's completed I will start on a vintage Sig Morrisey Bravo which I really can't wait to start!
My next post will have a list of allthe manufacturers that I have used for this plane as well as specifications. It will be updated as necessary and will take me some time to complete, but I hope that it may serve as a resource for others to use.

The reason is simple Robert, I wil get more use from a Space Walker which I can fly at my club's flying field. The Bravo will be too large to fly at that field. Also, after completing the Ryan I'm looking forward to a easier next build.

And I'm looking forward to watching you build it. Wish I could be building right along with ya, but I'd just get left in the dust!<div>
</div><div>By the way, anybody else feel kind of sad that the build is over? I was enjoying watching and admiring the awesome work you did!</div>

Vincent,
Don't forget to have Private Ryan's Commander (pilot) climb aboard to guide PR safely through the skies, PR would be lonely without him. Besides you always need someone to praise or blame

Cliff give me a shout when you're in the area, doors always open... One of the things that I will miss is the good humor that you all bring to this table, the last few posts are great examples- sometimes its the little smiles that get put on our faces that count the most
. There always the next thread!</p>

I was thinking the very same thing. Kind of like watching the end of Anthony's Waco thread. I NEVER get tired of watching true craftsmen at work...................

Hey Vincent,
You did an outstanding job on your Ryan. I LOVE the last picture in you group post (the one where the plane is on the table and you are slightly lower trhan the plane). It shows just how well everything fits together and how all the details line up on the fuse. Good luck with your Spacewalker kit. It's not particularily a plane I like, but I will follow your thread just to see what else I can learn from your skillfull craftsmanship.
Take care,
David

Vince, you need to get your pictures sent in to the AMAmag so you can get featured on the cover. Ican't think of anybodys work more deserving, even if you don't make the cover you should get in the viewfinder feature in the back. We will be pulling for ya on that maiden, just absolutely beautiful. Thank you for the invite, the same goes here if you ever decide to come to the golden age flyin down here.Looks like tomorrow is going to be a fine day here so I'm going FLYING!

I visit the forum infrequently but this post impressed me w/ the build info you included so others wud know what works, taking a lot of guess work out of the project for those not following the orig build plan.

It would be such a pleasure to see your efforts displayed with an AMA cover story. That's what it's there for so we'll all look forward to a very successful maiden with videos and photos and book signings......
Cheers to you and "Private Ryan" and many, many thanks to you for the time and efforts on this build thread too.
Dick
