Wow the saito 82 will match your RCU name LOL. Prop clearence will be an issue. Did you get larger wheels ?
I'm using an Irvine 53 with a 12x6 APC and larger wheels I have just enough clearence.

I did decide on the Saito 82 for power and I just got it today!

I checked for clearence and it seems that a 14" prop should be no problem (might get a little green custom dye on the prop from time to time depending on how freshly mowed our flying field is [8D])
LOL,
Mine is pretty green before the field is mowed.

Mr Moderator...
Can you resize the above two posts? If not, can you just delete them?
I have no clue what happened... I didn't change a thing from when I posted previous pics. [&:]

Hey OTE,
Awesome looking SE
. I wish I could cover a plane like that.
Have any of you guys on this thread ever considered blowing one up in size. I saw one a couple of weeks ago at my flying field, that someone built from scratch. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of it, but it was close to the same size as the largest Hangar 9 Twist and it can fly circles around any size Twist. I don't remember the wing span, but it was large enough to be powered by a Supertiger 2300 2-stroke.
Just my two cents worth.
Fly safe and have fun!!

Thanks Ken!
David... Thanks for the compliments... I will say that it looks better in the pics than it does up close.
I did see a thread on here (it's been a while) where a guy basically doubled the size of a SE and it did look pretty nuts. If I had more time and patience I'd definately give it a go but I don't have that scratch building drive that some other builders have
. It'd be nice if Sig would just up-size the SE in a laser cut kit... maybe 90-120 size??? Note I did say KIT not arf (just incase someone from Sig reads this... lol).

This kinda looks like a .60 sized SSE: http://ak-models.com/mm5/merchant.mv...AKM_Laser_Kits
I've been thinking about buying it but I just have too much other stuff to get done first.

LOL... You like those T tails don't you Blade.
I'm just finishing the last few touches on a SPAD that we (loganjoel and myself) are going to do a little combat with this flying season. We just have to decide if we're going to do traditional streamer combat... or........ FULL CONTACT (UFC) style no holds barred, no rules combat. LOL
The last one flying wins (which ofcourse will be ME!) [>:] lol

Sounds like OTE is getting pretty cocky. My plane dubbed "Spad to the Bone" will do just fine with its serated tooth landing gear. Hey OTE, just in case you forgot what it looked like, here is another picture. lol.

Don't worry everyone - I'll be there with my camera for the maiden combat mission!! This should be interesting. I can't wait to watch these 2 turkeys duke it out!!
