although i have choose to not to build the wings longer i feel i would like to add leading edge flapps to prevent the tips from stalling on slow landings could anyone help me in fugureing how to do this even if i needed a nother servo system to operat almost like a drop out or slide down operating type that can be deployed when landing of preforming slow manuvers. help anyone thisis the last thing i wana addd.

any updates.....i'll be starting mine soon...i'm going to convert it to a tail dragger with bush wheels and enlarge the elevator and rudder

im still waiting on the covering to get here im not in a rush anymore ive started to run realy low on money sooo[]. um i had desided to give the sides some shape ill post pics as soon as im able. ive also added make shift wing tips and i added larger 1-1/2 inch alerons and flow over flaps. hey when your fixing up your plane post some pics id love to see.

mines relativly close to flat but i wouldnt recomend it atleat keep a lil bit so it has some stabuility and so you can fly some what hands off

ok heres where i sit. ive desided to extend the flaps bolth wide and long so i can slow my plane to a crawl also i designed some leading eadge slats but i wana know what you think of there functanality these are only the ruf fourm of them but if they work i will make them for real out of foam sheeted and glassed. the front has an opening of about one quarter of an inch and the rear one eighth so the fmow of air should be excelerated in thery but i have never done this befor so i dont quite understand. well here are some pics so you can see what i mean. i also slightly rounded the wing tips and alerons.

hey to who ever is still following along i know its been a while i ran out of money[] so ive been working hard. it still ist covered but there is progress it seems to be going like that saying one step forward two back, i have takin in acount that the planes weight means there may be more stress on the wing and a loss of lift soo even though i didnt want to i am extening the wings out by four bays eather side [:@]soo an extra 19 inches soo its going to be a beast.ok so hears what i have done my seventh and final channel has become a banner/tow rope/bomb drop release. its pretty much two peaces of 1/8 inch ply wool realy glues in there that a flex cable runs in and its operated by a small micro servo in the tail. i covered it with balsa and shaped it sexy and i also added a peace of light ply where the rope would rub. i also added a small horisantal fin on the vertical fin at an angle that would aid in the stalling of the plane when preforming stol manuvers. it is made of 1/8th balsa i sanded to a wing like shape. well anyways heres some pics ask guestions if your confused. the final pics of are my home made switch its just a micro push rod and a home mades handle of light ply. sorry the pics are fuzzy they where taken on my phone i cant find my real camra its probably baried under cloths in my room.

i was thinking half pound flower bombs and i made a small look alike drop tank and torpedo with weight in the tip soo hopefully that look wool i know the flower boms look sweet exploding on the ground

i did some more mods im lovein building and re building parts right now i re did the tail surfaces on the plane it now has larger 1 and a half inch elevators and a targe full tail of my own designe. heres some pics.[8D]

dose anyone know who makes realy good iron on fabric and can it be painted soo i can still put the eagle on it

tommorow im off to the hobbie shop to get my covering anyone have a coulor schem still bright dall all of them ill altamatly choose one or take parts from all. hopefull since the weather here has been soo beautiful i can do my taxi tests and small fixes soon. the wings also have been started on the wing extention i hope to be done that within a week or two. ill post pics latter when i find my camera. soo till then idd still like to hear ideas or see some builds.
