Thank you! This was my first paint project. There are some noobie mistakes on the one side but overall I was pretty happy. I took my time and I like it. Now when I race stock class at the local track they won't get me confused with the other ones!

Depends on what slash you have. The new slash has the replica BFgoodrich T/A tires and they are the same backwards as they are forwards. The older slash tires can be swapped around and give different traction on loose surfaces. If you don't have to use the stock tires for racing a class, I would recommend the Proline Caliber tires. They are great on loose and dusty tracks.

RE: The Official Traxxas Slash short-course race truck
HI guys, I just put a Novak ballistuc pro brushless sysytem in my slash. It still seen to be a bit slow. I also change out my spur to 76t and 26t pinion. I notice that when i punch it that the truck drop in back unlike the brush. I got this setup to in stock racing class. It also seen that my stock strike is about faster than my slash with the brushless both running 7.4 lipo. Any ideas out there that help me.

Just go to www.ultimatetraxxas.com and click on the Backslash project. All the components are listed there.
Really easy conversion. Lots of fun.
might be a touch wider than stock with the 17mm adapters and the 1/8 buggy tires.

backslashers use the proline high downforce wing with HPI hellfire mounts... you need to do a little dremeling on the mount to get it to clear the transmision case but its foolproof and barring drilling 2 holes completely bolt on...

No the charger that comes with the truck is not very good. You will be better off buying a new one that does what you want.

Bought a Slash from Tower Hobbies March 3rd. Couple of weeks ago the radio quit binding. I called customer service and they wanted me to ship it back. I did. Customer service called while ago and said the radio was bad and they are sending the Slash back with a new radio. Have to give em credit, Traxxas has great customer service!
