Stuck in raidentech hell! I will not use this company again, or any of their fronts.

You should post your problem on the support forum.

Right on, I think you will be better off that way just jumping into the hdx. Use the money you saved on this heli for spare parts for the hdx....spindles, main shafts, gears, grips, etc and you will be good. Just stay in your realm of safety for the most part and don't move forward till you are comfortable.

I'm working with helidirect to return a canopy I bought for my mini titan. It's a POS, the one I ordered came with a crack in it. I hate having to return things, They now have my money for a broken product that I have to pay to send back (tying up more of my money) and when they receive it I should then get a refund. Canopy is out of stock right now so apparently others are buying it, and probably finding out the hard way. Fusuno has no QA I am sure of that, this canopy was never test fit on anything except the box it was shipped in.

Glad they got you taken care of.

Well if there was never a double charge, then the two postings on my account for $197 with your name on it and holding up my funds was a result of double vision? No matter how you serve it, the second charge still places that amount on hold also.

Adding fuel to the fire here is making a civil attempt to get an answer which is not impossible if you have a few hours to kill sitting around on hold. So now we have a double charge and cannot contact anybody. I've been around here a long time and many may think of me as they wish but they all know as tactless as I am, I tell it like it is.

I ordered one of their mirco helos. I thought it would be fun in the house. It only had a fly time of one minute tops. It was advertised as ten minutes. I followed the directions to a T. I sent it back and they informed me the directions were wrong...nice. They said a first charge should have been five hours. Per the instructions the first charge is 1/2 hour. I asked for a credit to purchase a Falcon 40. They finally sent the Falcon, but only because I kept calling and emailing them. As another gentleman stated this operation is truly a couple of guys in a warehouse answering a phone. I'll let you folks know how the new helicopter does. I don't think I'll deal with them again.

Listen, you don't owe me any money. I did not lose $197. "Somebody" ran my card twice. When this is done, it shows as a "pending action." This puts the money on hold and cannot be used at all until you process it. Had you processed it, only $197 would have been taken from my account and the other 197 dropped. Problem with this is he ran it twice, had he run it 4 or 5 times, it would have tied up nearly $1000 until you process the order for only $197. This is how it works.

I was at a Panda Express 2 weeks ago. Bought my kid a gift card for $60 to use between classes. Idiot behind the counter was having problems running the cards as they would not "take." So every time she ran a bad gift card, she ran my debit card. I finally said what the *&%$ are you doing? She finished, I came home and had $360 as 6 "pending actions"on hold for 4 days until it dropped off.

Things have been weak with your company a long time, you know it, we know it, so fix it and be done with it

That doesn't sound like a huge problem though.

Most initial charges do have to be longer to "form" the battery, but you could have gone in and done this after the fact.

Were you given the Falcon or credited towards it?

---

John who answers e-mail and PM's here has been fantastic whenever I've had any problem.

Cyclic was immediately responded to when he posted in the support forums.

I've never bothered phoning them ( though they have phoned me once or twice, and I assuming everyone here is correct about trying to call them ) but they have been quite responsive whenever I've had any issues.

I really don't care if it is a "couple of guys in a warehouse" if I'm getting good value for the money and what I order arrives in good shape.

While with me it's screw me once and I'm gone... yet I've done very well with Nitroplanes on over 20+ planes. I can't speak for Raidentech, but I can for Nitro...

I tried to form the battery after the fact and it did not work. Raidentech credited the amount for the first helo to the Falcon. Also, they did not charge me shipping for the Falcon. If everthing works out I quess I won't be to upset, but they are very slow to answer emails and one spends a lot of time on hold with that stupid music.

this sounds like one person who is running a buisness from his house. some of the terms he used like,,pissed off, ticked off,etc and the typo's are not a sign of a reputal company. thats why you are on hold so many times for so long.. i bet everytime you do get through you speak to the same person..he might be big enough to have a buddy help out. and what company would give you a 500 dollar credit for an honest mistake. companies just dont do that.. first off he did not charge you. he just is holding up your money because he ran it twice. but since he knows you wont be charged he can make that 500 dollar offer. i know what you mean about your money being tied up as a result of pending charges..

i been through a VERY simular situation.. you say several companies you called have the same music playing while on hold. of course all are the same.. makes perfect sense.. do a reverse look up of his phone number.. maybe a couple different cell phones.. why no toll free number for such a huge company???

[Shopping at "Banana Hobby" means “Customer Satisfaction” . We put our customers in our number one priority! ]

doesnt sound like you are getting treated like this.

i have 2 friends.. one sells cinnamon roasted nuts on line. he advertises many kinds and gift baskets and what not. he website looks like it is a million dollar company.. he runs it out of his townhouse kitchen. when he gets an order he runs up to the store and buys the nuts they orderd. takes them home and prepares them then ships them out. he has nothing on hand.

another guy i know works at a vitaman store.. he is a sales clerk who gets a 20% discount. so he started an online store of his own selling vitamans.. what he does is list every item he can get at the store on his website. when he gets orders he buys them with his 20% discount and ships them out. not to mention he marks up the price to begin with.

i am not saying this is the case here.. but things just dont make sense.. especially when the store uses the term,, pissed off.. come on..

i know i am going to hear about this post my this is just my opinion.. i have been wrong before...

Yeah I've never bothered with the phones, good thing that PM'ing John here has always worked for me.

He may be overwhelmed with business which is good for him but not for us. This is nothing new as the track record here shows
