Good eyes. One of the struts rotated slightly from a ground loop due to the brakes locking up and did not retract all the way.

I know I can do an ele/ele mix assigned to the gear switch, but then I'd be way out of trim until the gear came down fully.
Ideas?
Well, 99.98% sure I discovered my, err, issue...I never set my trims to link to my flight mode/ flap switch! I had an approximate amount of down elevator set up in my flap system, but I was also slightly noseheavy to begin with, so up trim for normal flight also reduced down elevator for flaps, lol. Rookie!
weather permitting I'll give it another go this week...

I need some help, I had not so good of a landing on my last flight of the UF, (broke main right retract pin) nose gear needed some adjustments,
now when i retract the nose gear it want to twist about 1/4 of an inch making the nose wheel hit the fuse, I don't have a programmer for my Behotec c-40 retracts.
any ideas? on how to fix this.

So the steering servo is through the Behotec controller? I don’t see how the heavy landing made the controller change the neutral position between steering on and off to retract. The steering still works with the gear down? Switches off gear up?

Thanks for that, will do.
I’m trying to source a replacement gear set for a DS JR 8421. Only 1x nylon gear has teeth missing. Can you help or steer me elsewhere?

It’s the same gear set (nylon bits) as the 8231 or you can fit 8411 metal gears

I can only suggest an internet search, there has been no new stock for several years.

Dave, can you tell me what the max flap setting was that you settled on for your UF?

And are the ELEV and AIL deflections measured on the inboard of each surface...tks

105mm

In board gives a good feel for the first flight, then tune, elevator is quite sensitive, so expo needed 35%

80N turbines are OK, The JetCat P-80 works fine, but the new small high efflux turbines the stock tail pipe is too big and you will lose lots of static thrust.

P-80 powered Classic Flash I set up and flew Saturday. It was off in 300’ on grass.

So a kingtech k-85 g4 would not work with the stock tail pipe?
