What do you do if you need a replacement main strut?

What's happened to yours?

We will only fix if you purchased the struts, wheels and brakes package. If you have not they are only sold in a set.

I bought it from someone else that did not need to be trying to fly it. He dammaged the gear landing. I was able to fix the wings, but the two main struts are trash.

<div>It's not that I did not want to sell you a pair it's the fact that I can't produce enough of them. I have about 70 orders to fill and we are working as fast as we can to get them done. So if I sell you a set of struts I would have to make somebody else wait I am just trying to be fair with all. I hope you understand!</div><div></div>

So to get this clear, what we are saying here is that if you are not the original owner of the airframe or landing gear you will not sell spares to the new owner?????

Then why would you not sell them to Mitchell, he asked and you would only sell him a complete set of UC? this is a contradiction on your part.

Because at the moment I do not haveany in stock to sell separately I only have full sets. These are provided for us by Spring Air. If I had some I would sell them but I do not, I can not sell something I do not have. I will not piece apart set that are ment for other customers who have been waiting for several weeks.

So anyone who has bought a Tornado had better not have a heavy landing and bend the UC because spares are not available, we are saying that as soon as the rush is over you will hold stock to sell as spares, but as soon as you get a rush on spares will not be available again.

IMO from the outset spares should be available or any sales you make, I should be able to get a single bolt, trunion, lower leg, upper let, spring, axel or wheel, if I have bought a product wheather its second hand or not I want to be able to get back up for it, if I can't get the spares I don't want the product sitting in my shed unable to fly it because I can't get a spare bolt, sorry Henry you have not done yourself any favours you need to reconsider this policy so you can give back up to your customers immediatly they need it, not at your convenience.

First of all we have given to our customers the best support we can, I have gone above and beyond for several people who needed our help. I really don't think you can come and judge our customer service since you are not a customer your self, you have not bought anything but your the first to judge on this thread and many others. Spring Air has parts for everything they make and they are all available. Unfortunately they are out of stock on some parts but that is business, things sell out that happens with every manufacturer. So do me a favor if you do not have any experience dealing with me or my company do not judge me or tell me to reconsider any of my policies. My ONLY policy is to give the best service to my customers and I have proven that over and over again.

Henry has helped me out very much, he has even sent me things that I requested with out even charging me. Bald Eagle in my personal opinion you are just full of !@#$ in this and every other forum you always stirr up the pot, get a life. If you have not bought anything then shut up. Spring Air is a class operation as well, they have been around way longer than most of us in the hobby out there and they have sold and serviced a quality product. My 2 cents

Henry don't let people like that get your feathers ruffled there are many in this world and it seems he is one of them. Like I mentioned earlier in this thread I lost my job and Henry and Modellbau helped me out very much. They are a class act. Bald Eagle you really need to keep your mouth shut we don't need people like you in this forum.

Hey Mike(Baldeagle) with all due respect, IMO you don't have rights to come on here and talk bad to MBA, you don't own a current MBA product and I'm sure you have never done business with Henry. I'm new to jets and Henry has helped me out a lot, I own 3 jets and 2 are from Henry.

I have dealt with Henry many times in the last few months and He is a straight up guy, that does not dodge problems. He always calls or e-mails me right back no mater what the trouble is. George

Baldeagel has been a pain in the ass since this thread started [>:] , with his terrible comments and advises to new jet pilots and a big mouth full of crap that made me upset about the stupid things he writes [:'(], he doesn't know enough about jets to be around telling people what to do or where they are wrong ... so the best you can do for you is don't write again in this thread , it may help you to not look so bad in front of all us , MODELLBAUUSA and Henry has been way above any customer service i've known in the rc industry [8D] .

Yes,
Henry has been the best. His service is A++.
I was the one that started to do my build in here and all it did was cause me greif from people like B.E.. I have just stoped posting pictures because someone always has a smart comment
about this or that being wrong. All of those guys don't even have the plane!! Like they say it only takes one to spoile the bunch.

It seems like every model club has a resident expert (in their own minds) on anything and everything.
They seem to think that they are some sort of NASA flight specialists.
It looks like some have discovered these forums.
It is my dream to one day have my own private model field with no d@#$ heads allowed.

holy negativity Batman!! LOL.

BaldEagle - I am not sure if you realize it or not but you just can't go saying things like that and not expect to get some seriously negative comments directed back towards yourself. This is RCU afterall. You can say whatever you want to but it is in everybody's best interest to try and keep it as positive as possible. You obviously have some valuable experience with turbines and we appreciate your input however some tact would be of benefit.

I have a Tornado on order and it will be my first turbine. It is currently out of stock and I could order it from Troy Built and have it sooner however I believe that Henry is offering a great product (appears to be from what I have read) at a smokin everyday price. I will wait til Henry gets more Tornado's in stock because I want to support him directly. The Tornado is a big part of the reason I am getting into turbines now as it is a perfect airframe for me: inexpensive (when compared to the next best alternatives...not everybody who flies turbines has deep pockets), lands ridiculously slow and is grass capable (I fly on a short grass strip). We must also remember that this is a new product for Henry and he probably didn't expect it to sell as well as it has. I worked at a hobby shop for 2 years so I have been on the other side of the counter and I know where Henry is coming from. Give the guy a chance and cut him some slack. He isn't Superman and Jesus all rolled into one.

P.S. - I have my own private model field. It is very much a dictatorship. No BS and no politics. Just great flying with great friends. It is awesome and it works.
