Can someone tell me what the six, small, plywood blocks that come with the Viper kit are for? Can't find anything in the assembly manual that uses them.

I am at a loss as how you fellows are routing your aileron/flap servo wires. I tried putting a hole facing the leading edge in the servo box. I can't seem to find a way to route
the wires this way. I have not tried putting a hole facing the wing root - does that work better. Would love to hear from you who have already done this, and how you did it.
Thanks - Bob

Thanks Kev-O, finally after fishing for awhile, I managed to succeed. The hole facing the leading edge worked but it was a struggle.
I'd like to have it ready for Cayley Kev but I don't think I'll make it. I'll bring the KingCat.

Jjet, There is no rear tray that comes with the kit. If you want one you will need to make it up your self. Here is the one I made up. As you can see there is not much on it. If you are going to use the cockpits you will need to keep every thing to the sides. Since we mounted the cockpit in the front a little different than what the instructions call for we had to cut some of the bottom of the front one for clearance for the receiver. There is not a lot of room under the cockpits.

Hello Bill,
I notice in your pictures that you have the main doors closed while the nose gear is open. Did you just manually close the mains for the picture or are you running two sets of retract door valves?

VinJetPilot, I have the mains attached to the EV5 valve. I have the nose hooked up to it also but I have a BVM Micro Air Switch on the nose gear that closes the nose wheel door when the nose wheel retracts. Attached is a photo of it . You can't see it very well in the photo but its behind the plywood that is not painted.

Bob, The door needs to stay open while the front strut is down. I have the Main doors closing when the gear is down but you can't do this with the nose. You could do it with the EV5 but it would still take another valve.
