I bet all Genesis are going to be 'LE' soon!

Anywho, at CEN's rate right now, if this is LE, many of their vehicles well go "LE" because they aren't selling too well. The Genesis did well at the Maxx challenge this year, but not well enough to amp up sales. CEN is currently looking for team drivers for their new 1/8 buggy as of that race though...

We did quite well at the Maxx challenge. Andy was racing by himself the whole race. It is very unfortunely that he end up at 9th A main. We were actually in 2nd place and about to pass Drake and take the lead, but the Airtronics Servo blew up.
Yes, we are always seeking talented driver to pilot the Matrix. Andy was beating the entire XRay Team by himself again at the Koysho Manufacture Challenge.

Well guys, heres another update. I honestly love this truck. I like this truck more each time i drive it. I truly wish all the original Gen owners had my same experience with this truck. We would have a GREAT crowd of Gen owners if they did. I also started jumping the truck today. Man, for such a big truck, it handles jumps really well. Very sensitive to throttle in the air though. With all the diffs tuned now, the performance is just awesome. I will take it to a park or field tomorrow to test for 3rd gear. But i have a feeling its getting into it, just real soon. If it isnt, then its going to be retarded fast. Right now its just incredible at top speed. I dont know if i mentioned it yet, but it should be noted that this heavy truck does a weee bit more damage than other lighter trucks. To the yard that is. It forms its own path really fast. For a TRUE monster truck, one that really has all the features, all the ballz, and all the things that make it MONSTER!!! This is the truck to have! Any fan of the real monster trucks would truly appreciate this beast. I love everything about it soo far. I do wish CEN would release the stock body in CLEAR form. I love the shape and style, and would love to have one with my paint work done on it. Hopefully we'll see that in the future.

Hi ThermalRD
It's good to hear that you are happy with your Gen.
I'm very happy with my Gen too, I have had it since october. So I share your experience!!! Yes it's sad that we aren't to many happy owners
But the happy crowd is getting bigger!! 3rd gear is awesome you are going to love it and the sound is great when you hit 3rd gear.

I really like the way it looks. I like the low profile of the tires and wheels.
Thermal: are you running with the center diff?? I don't know much about them, I read the owners manual a while back and it seemed like you could lock it or run with a center diff?? What about their 55 series tires and wheels, those look interesting!!

Yes, i am running the center diff WITHOUT the locker. I've got it tuned at 10k-30k-3k. Its performance is really cool like this. It does come with a diff lock when you buy the truck. Im told the 55 series wheels and tires, and the 23mm hubs for them should be available like now. I asked a couple weeks back, and they said 2 weeks on hop ups. I plan on buying those wheels and tires. For now, i'll get all the electronics in place. Im gonna buy that monster Hitec servo for steering. Its really cool to watch how this truck performs with the diffs setup this way. I just need to find the shock oil i need, and i'll be all set. Right now i have nothing but good things to say about this truck. With the exception of the minor glitching, that appears to have been caused by the original failsafe.

That's finally good to hear something good about the Genesis LE. Hey Thermal RD have you tried it without the top shocks, and how fast do you think your going without hitting 3rd gear, how's the steering, and what brand of fuel you are using and at what percent??? Thanks Thermal RD for your reply's ( it sounds like the Genesis LE has been working out at the factory and it's ready for a rematch[sm=punching.gif])

Aluminum crusher, i had the top shocks off while i changed the oil in them. It felt ALOT different without them, in a good way. I'll race with only 8 shocks on this truck. How fast is it going? I could only speculate, but its very fast. The next time i see a radar speed trap set up in my area, i'll do some speed passes on it. Right now, i'd have to say low 40's. Not sure what gear its hitting. Its speed is very impressive. Im also using 30% Odonnell fuel, and i did break-in with heat cycles. Which is NOT the method they say to use in the manual. Oh, and about the steering, i dont think anybody would believe me if i mentioned that. It steers incredibly well. I expected this truck to require a football field to steer. Thats just simply NOT the case. Im more impressed with this trucks performance than i am my TNX Pro. Steering, and speed... Keep in mind though, i do have this truck setup with all 3 diffs tuned. I gained more steering with each diff i tuned. I also have my toe in/out setup properly for steering. Other than that, all servos are stock. Atleast for a little while anyway.

so your using 30k fluid for your center diff? how is power delivery to the front wheels on acceleration(going foward)? is it more than the back gets?(at least what i would think) do you notice any wear on your drive cups or cvds? (i dont have the gen im just curious because i want to buy one). with the diffs tuned the way you have them, is it a great setup for backyard bashing?

We are glad and excited to hear you like the Truck. Genesis LE is made for the purpose of ultimate basher with racing in mind and it is certainly doing the job. Feel free to contact us anytime and we can share setups, racing experience...etc.

Man, after listening to you go on, I almost wish I had bought that instead of the Mad Force. But I figure I'm just working the kinks out of the Force (like the kink on every single tooth of the 1st Gear. [

Oh well, maybe next go 'round, I'll look at one.

Yes, i do get more power to the front wheels. My truck will wheelie OCCASIONALLY, and bring the front right back down when the wheels unload. I have not noticed any wear on the cvd's, or any other drive train yet. Acceleration is insane. My setup is great for running backyard bashing, or the track. The funny thing is, i just met up with a friend (Elite) at the local indoor track. If i were to tell you i was on that small indoor track, and hugging the turns tight, would you believe me? Well, honestly, i wouldnt have believed it either. Since Elite was there and watching, he can tell you too. The truck seems to love me, and gets better everytime i drive it. Now the truck has seen the backyard, the track, the jumps, and the fumbles. No broken parts to report, and nothing but good news. I also found the shock oil i needed, so thats gonna get done next. I've gotta say i think its hilarious to watch that MONSTER rip around such a tight track. Fact is, i dont even have racing tires, or my suspension setup yet. Whats even funnier is that Jake (binaryterror) thinks he wont lose a race to my Genesis. I plan to prove him wrong! After seeing how capable it is stock, i can imagine a VERY fast truck with the proper setup. Another great thing i noticed. When i was racing down the straight with Elites Revo, we bumped a bit in the turn at the end of the straight. The great part was the lighter Revo spun right around and made its way toward the wall. The 17+ lb Gen stayed right on track, never missed a beat. I know its such an obvious conclusion to the scenario, but its funny to see it happen on the track. I know when i feel guys are hacking, im definitely gonna run the Genesis. Anyway, thats just some more great news for CEN and the Genesis. CEN, i love the truck!

Way to go Thermal RD your face is pretty popular from the big screen to throughout the internet, are you sure you don't work for CEN
LOL just kidding. I'M glad to hear how well this truck is performing I was about to buy the Mammoth ST from my LHS they want 359.99 plus tax. So I said to myself you will be paying 390.00.....Hmmmm order it you big dummy and just wait for it to come, or wait for more results from Thermal RD on the Genesis LE. So after reading your last post I think I will be ordering the Genesis LE this week. Who is selling the Genesis LE at a very low price? Thanks again for your reply's (put up a video if you can Thermal RD)[sm=lol.gif]YEP,YEP,YEP,ME LIKE VIDEO

Aluminum Crusher, im not sure who has the lowest price. I had asked my LHS about it, and they told me 548. So i bought it. I'm told by another member of the TeamCEN forum, that it can be bought a bit cheaper than what i paid. So im not sure what the best price would be. I guess i didnt really shop around much. I'll try to have Binaryterror get some video of the Gen at the next race. The track will NOT be the GIANT West Olive track though. Its a large track, but not like WOOR. It will be nice enough to show off the Gen though. If the weather would ever cool off just a little, i'd head back to Dirt Burners and have the video made there. That would show everyone that this truck can hang on even the tightest of tracks. Oh, and by the way, i definitely DONT work for CEN. Im sure some of the long time members of this site remember my arguments with a CEN fanatic known as Mecky33. Trust me, if i felt this truck was garbage, or any part of it was bad, i'd be here telling everyone about it. In fact, if mecky was still around, he'd be laughing his ass off seeing me post how much i love this Genesis.

Andy was beating the entire XRay Team by himself again at the Koysho Manufacture Challenge.

) . I'll keep you guys in mind, but you gotta hook up with some more distributors. Its very hard to find any products with "CEN" stamped on it. Could you send me some pics? I am bouncing from Kyosho (but of course), Cen and Xray.My plan is to do the local races here again, its been a full year since I have raced ANYTHING. If you could tell me what gear seems to hook up best on that matrix (engine, shock setups ect), you might seal a deal with me... i just need to know a place to get parts and the matrix itself.

Just tested it again and it still works fine. Do you have divx 6.0 installed? If you have that then I don't what the problem is.
