Sweeeeet. It seems that you have your breaks set really tight.

it's the engine, i wanted to use that combo but it just flips my truck on the lid way too much torque !
and the geolanders just grip so well i wanted to see what it was like to spin a tad before it hooked so i got the traxxas kicks and not the best but i'll use them on fresh black top for now.

Were you able to mount a body on your truck with the BB in it?

yes even then i was battling the linkage deal ! but i found out that the brake disc i was using was the wrong type i was using a metal one and not the thick carbon fiber disc but it's all better now. even the linkage worked better after i change it.

Well the truck i got a while back had a top with a bigblock and it fit nice. but i have had no luck it looks like i will have to get a stock body. but no one around me sells hpi stuff so it's tower all day ! i will get a lid on her but i was just trying to get the engine thing sorted out first. i want the silverado.

I put the roto start on my engine to give me some extra room to mount it. The roto start is about half the thickness of the pull start.

I used to have that roll cage, its a pain in the ass. If you have a pullstart and that cage make sure to get some led gloves cuz you wll be smashing them on the cage all the time. I beleve the cage is mabe by RC Solutions. Have a look here: http://www.rc-solutions.com/

So is it not even worth the money to spend on it? What was such a pain in the ass?

To work on anything you have to take it off,
To start it you will for sure smash up your hands,
On major roll over it bens the cage and trying to line up the holes on the truck to the cage are a pain in the ass,

Personaly i wouldnt waste the money. It looks cool and it dose what its suppost to do....but its a pain lol. IMO.

I have a savage too. Its nice because the trucks drive completely different from each other. The MT2 is good in tight high speed stuff where the savage you can almost jump off your roof with.
Ive got the BB tuned a little better for the MT2 and its almost pulling wheelies. Its got soo much tire spin though that its tough. It did wheelie in the grass though, I guess because of the extra traction. I still have to get the 2 speed adjusted properly though.
Anyone interested in a 2 speed tranny for the MT2?

It should fit, thats the only clutch that i use. Are you puttting it on the right way, what hole in the clutch are you putting it in? Are you sure you are useing the right clutch bell? What one is it?
