some purple titanium turnbuckles would look sweet on your gt's... a very hard color to find though[:@]

for some people

[email protected][8D]

i got some for 3$ each!!! they were brand new!! oem packaged so they were only taken out to be repackaged in sets of 6 instead of bags of 100!!

GT's require a threaded crank.

Hi

Hay Thunderbird I would recommend getting a nipple for that 360 Stinger. It will make starting the engine easier. As it is the stinger is trying to force exhaust into a tube that is being pinched. That nipple will help give your fuel tank more presser, and make it easier to start your truck. I know my trucks start easier with them on.

Yeah, I'm gonna head to my LHS later to see if i can find one that'll thread into the hole since it's bigger than any of the nipples i have laying around, but the tubing isn't pinched at all, and the truck runs just fine. I don't like the idea of just cramming the tubing in there, but it seems to work.
I'm a big fan of the stinger now, cuz it keeps all the gooey nastiness off of the left rear of the truck [sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif] I think it lost some bottom end torque, though, but makes up for it with top end power. I think it needs an engine upgrade soon, so if anybody wants a well used AE .15, lemme know the Fantom FR series looks pretty good...

Hey, about the RC10GT upgrade kit. It's hangin on the wall at my LHS with a $52.99 tag on it. worth the bucks, or would my money be better spent elsewhere? this truck's just a basher, but I figure if the chassis in there is thicker or somethin I might go for it.
TIA

You can find it a lot cheaper online, in the 35-40 range. I upgraded from my tubchassis with the upgrade kit, i think its worth it. It makes it much easier to clean the truck in my opinion.

HI Rays

Dont sell it. If you did you would be lucky to get 500 for it. Set it up for street raceing. Thats what I'm doing with mine.

Be nice to keep it all shined up, I sure really dont want to scratch that chassis. But sometimes you let go of some toys to buy others.

Well I tried to sell it on E-bay at a reserve twice, Then I pulled the auction a third time, But this time Ive placed it on E-bay with no reserve starting price at a buck, And Im letting it go for sure. As Dr Smith said in lost in space "oh the pain oh the pain" Cause I know Im going to take a hit on this car, But Im have no need for it anymore the fun was building it. My E-bay screen name is Rays89 it can be found at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MESE:IT
