The price of the kit is $2000 which includes a $200 hardware package (tank, wheels, horns, axles, wheelpants, landing gear, etc.)... and the price of the shipping is probably going to be over $400 with DHL. I am the US distributor for the kit - more details will follow shortly and anyone can order directly from me. The kit will change with the electric version - it will be a plug-in wing and a removable canopy to allow access to the fuselage quickly and easily. The glow kit weighed in at 4780g with a YS CDI motor in it - very light. As you can see from the pictures the plane is built-up and is very well built. It is glassed and painted as well. Custom color schemes can be done but the cost will be extra depending on the number of colors. I've seen this plane fly for about 50 flights now and the plane flies very, very well... I'm very impressed with the workmanship on it and the way it presents as well.

How's this for a new version of the T-Can... one of the Czeck team is using it on his Spark. It looks like the V-tail from a Quickie racer...

OK, I'm bored at work, so I've been playing with the numbers on this web site: http://www.fpam.pt/WCF3A09/Classifications/scores.php I am extremely aware that these mean nothing at this point, but here's what I've come up with normalizing the scores on each panel and dropping the lowest round (which for most is a zero). Keep in mind, although CPLR has won 2 Panels so far, he's way down at 43rd because those are the only scores showing, and I only dropped one round. So here goes, raw scores normalized with no TBL applied, here's your current top ten:
First Name Last Name Panel 1 Panel 2 Panel 3 Panel 4 Total
AKIBA YOICHIRO 0.0000 954.9020 1000.0000 953.8462 2908.7481
JESKY ANDREW 0.0000 930.1961 958.4013 971.2551 2859.8524
BERND BESCHORNER 898.0563 972.5490 966.1501 0.0000 2836.7554
SUZUKI KOJI 900.0397 951.3725 953.5073 0.0000 2804.9196
ZEINER MARKUS 0.0000 907.8431 979.2007 912.5506 2799.5944
ROMBAUT JUAN 0.0000 872.1569 914.3556 912.9555 2699.4680
BUTUZOV SERGEY 0.0000 847.0588 892.3328 931.5789 2670.9706
JUN ZHANG XU 802.0627 905.4902 947.7977 0.0000 2655.3506
WICKIZER BRETT 829.0361 922.3529 903.3442 0.0000 2654.7332
BURBAUD LOIC 826.6561 892.5490 918.4339 0.0000 2637.6390
Before anyone says anything, yes I'm aware of how irresponsible it is to post things like this, but like I said, I'm bored and I got spare time... You'l notice Jesky and Wickizer in there, but Shulman and Somenzini are not, they're way down the list because they only have 2 scores posted on that website. CPLR is 43, Quique is 46, and Shulman is 50. CPLR is currently winning on Panels 1 and 2 (Shulman and Quique have both flown Panel 1), and Quique is currently winning on Panel 4 (CPLR and Shulman do not have scores for Panel 4).
Dang, tried editing to make it readable, but it didn't work...

Ouch, Chad Northeast has posted some updates on his blog, it seems one pilot failed the noise test with a Hacker motor!

OK, now the numbers are getting a little more real. TBL still isn't applied and it looks like scores are still missing from two different groups, one on Panel 3 and one on Panel 4. Other than that, this is making more sense... Some things to note, many of the people in the top 31 here also are missing a flight score, so this could easily change (especially Wickizer, he has a very low normalized score on Panel 1, if he can replace that with a strong flight on Panel 4 like he did on Panel 2 he could jump up quite a bit, maybe even top 15). Here's what I have for the top 31:
1 CHRISTOPHE PAYSANT - LE ROUX 3000.0000
2 Quique SOMENZINI 2942.8757
3 YOICHIRO AKIBA 2899.1905

I am not clear how they are calculating the order.
Are they normalizing each pilot's score for each panel and taking the 3 best for each pilot?
OR
Are they dropping the low raw score, totalling the 3 best and then normalizing from there for each flight group?
OR
Are they going to wait until all the pilots have flown all 4 rounds, drop the low for each and then normalize as a group to get the top 30??

Well, it's my understanding that they take the raw scores first and run the TBL algorithm. Once that is done, each panel is considered one flight and they are normalized to the highest raw score. The low round is then discarded to determine who makes it to the semi-finals. Like I said, this is just my understanding of the process, and I could be wrong, but that's how I've been doing it (minus the TBL).

Puleeeaasseeee...
