Art, how come the root rib looks like it's leaning the wrong way. Looks like you're building anhedral rather than dihedral. I suppose its a weird view but it looks unusual.
Doc
That's what it looks like to me too. It might just be camera distortion, but...

I dunno gotta be the designer as I am using his angle gauge and one side is labled rib - which I put up against the rib.....

I looked at the picture again and it looks like you guys might be correct[X(] I better go have a look and see what's up.

Well Paul, leave it to you [:-] to pick out my mistake........

I modified rib #7 which is located where the trailing edge joins together.......actually, I modified rib #6 by mistake - so it was too short to reach down to the trailing edge, so I had to put a little step in to facilate the rib/TE joint.......blah blah blah blah

The short answer is "It's there because I screwed up!"[X(]

Must have been one of those photographical distortions, an illusion as it were. Looks fine in the new pix.

Progress report:

Pretty much everything is on the wing that can be at this point........here's a picture.

Here's a question for all you cerebral types........ "Have you ever glued two parts together and wondered why they're not joining together tightly? Even after you have dry fitted it a couple of times and it was snug as could be........."

I'm just asking.......

Paul, apology not needed [8D]. Ya know, there's always a fly in the ointment somewhere..........I just didn't get it covered in time to hide it

I took a day or two off, but have made slow progress today - and with a Colt's game in less than an hour it will probably get slower.

At least the second wing is under construction

Wow, is HPA anal! I had to go back and look close to see what he was talking about. You should start posting fuzzier pictures so he can't find your little mistakes!

Hey Art, I noticed it, actually two ribs had been shored up but it didnt look unlike something you might see on my bench. If Paul posted more pix of his work I'm sure there would be plenty to kibbutz about. Any way as we all know, Stuff happens!

Hi Art, just found your construction thread, great build. Hope to see it fly at the Dawn Patrol in Eureka Springs. It looks like a well designed kit. I built the SR Batteries Enidecker, it flys great with G-26. I'll be watching your build, thanks for doing the construction thread. Merry Christmas and say Hi to the wife.
