Well I use the same brakes.
I just ran it for like 5 mins on the road.!!
Braking on demand is all I can say.
Just adjusted my rear linkages so only my front wheels lock up and my rear's dont.
Tired it at full force, OMG, Even with all the shock spacers, chassis scrapes
Now this thing can handle!!!!
Im Offically up and running

I was thinking 35 or 40 up front, and 45 at the rear.
The stock oil feels a bit ' thick '

This is my setup, all you need are these parts:
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/15646
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/3678 (you have to trim them a bit yourself they don't fit right on)

This brake setup can flip your car over!

I found stiffer springs o_O
I tried the springs off my Nitrage, which are around 10% to 15% stiffer and they fit like a dream.!!!
Too bad they dont fit the back, but the front's are exact matches!!!
Absoloute great day for my Hyper, it got new brakes, new shock oils and springs

It ran like a dream.!!!
What a differience the brakes are now.!! They flipped my truck more than once while turning.
Around 5 hours in, I had a head on colision with a Revo and broke my right steering knuckle and C hub. All fixed.
I was running Sidewinders 25% Race Fuel.

Do you all find it necessary to cut a hole in the front window to help keep the temps down?

Also I am going to get the dynamite pro throttle/brake linkages - Is there a certain model I need to get?

@ droid
Its a personal choice, I personally drilled some holes, but once summer arrives, will definately be cutting the entire wind screen out, just helps air circulation. I rather have my engine run a bit cold than hot.
About the linkages, I have no idea, sorry, im using the stock linkages and they work fine for me.

the hyper 7 shocks fit.
awesome day of racing today for the st, at least when i had it on all fours. was in 5th in the b-main and my rear bevel gear "appears" to have stripped. i haven't taken it apart yet to investigate. the hole shots were digging in pretty good to do that. that and the sts was running very pure with the byron's gen 2 fuel, love that stuff.

Good hearing stories about good racing. Keep us updated on the bevel gear. That doesn't sound good if you stripped it. Was cold here in the northeast and got another tank in of breakin. Only 4 1/2 more tanks.

it was my fault, the set screw had come loose the race before and i set it in there 1/2 way so there was a lot of play in it. i did the best i could with 20 minutes before the main and it didn't take long either, i think it blew on the second lap of a 15 minute b main. i have some more.

gonna try to go out to a track for an hour after school tomarrow , i really want to try this st out
after
adjusting my servo saver , re oiling the diffs and shocks, puttin 2 ace servos in and putting a new set of hoboa tri's on my st pro i think all my problems with steering and braking should be solved
i also did a complete set up with toe in etc and did a lot of trial and error but i am happy with the end result.
Pictures to be posted tomarrow hopefully with some action pics .
questions to all [8D]
What diff oils and shock oils are you using ?
What engine and pipe set are you using ?
what servos for throttle / brake are you using ?

In my ST Pro is have diff oils at 7,7,3 and shocks frt50wt and rr40wt, this is very much a standard setup with no real surprises but it works at my local track. My engine and pipe for racing is a RB TM928 with a 2045Pipe and a 192P manifold.
