Thanks Qaiz,
What about the front chasis brace?
Do you have the part numbers that I would need??
The first time i broke them I just crashed a lot. Since then I got better at driving, but they just built this huge jum on the front straight at my track. I don't think I am exagerating when I say that to clear it you fly about 18-20 feet high and 25-30ft long. You have to be wide open throttle to clear this thing. My truck can clear it but, I hit pretty hard a few times.
Thanks!

two things
1 - for get about it, it never happened
2 - stay off the forum for a couple of days, maybe you wont remember it
and i'm the one who asked the question what do you need for the mugen taank. iam sorry. i am a noob, 14 years old, trying to have a fun time in this hobby, trying to find anyting to make it easier, and a couple of people just go and argue about something so simple. i thought arguing with my brother about some stuff was dumb, well look back a couple of the previous posts. if one person likes someting and you dont, who cares, everyone is different, the world would suck if we were the same.
Look at the quote in my signiture, maybe it could be usefull?????????[sm=confused.gif][sm=confused.gif][sm=confused.gif][sm=confused.gif][sm=confused.gif]

Are the shocks on the Pro the same as the RTR? From the pictures on OFNA.com they appear to be.
Also, it looks like the rear chasis brace from the pro would fit, any reason why it wouldn't?

yes, the shocks are the same. i have the st rtr and the pro and i have upgraded a lot of parts to the rtr. the pro chassis braces are a direct fit replacement to the rtr.

I was a dealer(unauthorized thru R9) for STS, I lost my shirt because of STS... I also seen dozens of my freinds end up with motors that were absolute junk...... I have also talked with the guys from STS and seen how much disrespect they have for the North American market........... STS is the worst engine company there is, I will slam their products for all eternity...they screwed soo many people its not even funny..... then when some newbie buys a STS and starts telling people its as good as the high end mills I get insulted as its a blatant lie........... Jaywax thinks he's discovered STS and that he's found the answer to all engines, but ion truth he's just recycling everyone else's garbage........ He has ran 2 STS mills and now thinks he's an expert, I sold over 25 thousand dollars worth of STS product.. I have modified at least 50 STS motors, and have raced STS engines at the professional level.......... Some tool with experience on 2 individual STS is now pretending to be some sort of STS expert..Hell my first few STS were gems...but honestly STS cannot build 2 batches of motors the same, and in the end they are a motor that should be avoided....they are junk and the company is a bunch of crooks............... Jaywax you have alot of nerve calling me a joke,
STS sucks !!!!!!! it is the worst quality engines on the market and should be avoided at all costs....

Why don't you tell us what you really think about it Supertib.

I love the Hyper ST..only issue is fuel tank IMHO... the tank is designed wrong and causes tuning issues with the more sensitive motors... you will not be able to run a modded Picco using this tank, nor any seriously modded engines for that matter...... I am finding other people on other forums having major half tank leaning symptoms as well, and the physics also backs this up..pressure and surface area go hand in hand, change the surface are means you change pressure.... a good fuel tank needs to be square..... and IMHO the people who havent had issues are not running at the same level I am.... rookies and novice tuners likely know no better and wouldn't know a bad tune if it slapped them in the face........Hell may people argued the Savage tank didn't cause lean issues, but after a while the truth came out.... any tank that tapers down will lose fuel pressure the lower the fuel goes, which is very bad for keeping a consistent tune..the lower the fuel gets the leaner the motor runs.................Maybe on the low end sport motors this syndrome isn't apparent, but when you step up into he likes of a Ninja 28, modded OS 28, Modded Jammin 28, modded CL7B you will see major issues with the tank.and will be forced to change it for a Mugen..
....I have 2 people who have swapped the Hyper tank for the Mugen tank and they both are now thanking me for the info..both run big power mills and both could not get a consistent tune with the Hyper tank...the fuel level would hit the seam line on the tank and the motors would start running lean...High revving off the jumps and lean bogs coming out of the corners......... Anyways now with the Mugen tanks both are having great results and thanking me profusely for solving their issues..
I will tell you the differnce between the two tanks is night and day and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to notice...

I haven't seen that issue with my OS 21 V-spec, yet. But, I am going through glow plugs on this OS Vspec more then my brother-in-laws Vspec in his Kyosho that has a square tank. I will keep tabs on it and see. Doesn't hurt to be aware.

@ Spikeit
Nope not yet, still waiting on a few papers to clear. Should be done soon.
I havent had time to even open up the box of my Pro. In the past month, I ran both my trucks for a total of 4 hours and that's it.
I was free today, so cleant up my truck completely, with a tooth-brush, replaced the wing mount, chassis braces, did the shcoks, diffs and servos, and put my Picco back in ( Was running a LRP Spec 3 ).
Will post pics soon, waiting for the camera to charge.
@ Supertib
I kinda know what your getting at, running my XZ I did notice it acting lean at the bottom level of the tank.
Will be sure to order a Mugen tank with my next order.
Just double checking, no chassis mods' will be required, right.?
Thanks.

Running the Stock pipe that came with the Hyper. The .28 Hyper pipe. My brother-in-law is using the 2060 pipe. So maybe I should make that switch. I am on the Ofna forums as well. Didn't really have this problem till yesterday at the races. Darn plug died on my on the A mains after qualifing 5th. Owell. Put a new plug in and it was good. Was running a P3 plug (Ultra Hot). Might try the P7(Medium) Retune and see if that helps. I am running Trinity 20% Platinum Fuel but will be switching to Byrons Gen 2 Race blend. Most likely running the 25%.

Somebody also mentioned that the Dynamite pipe is good. So which route should I go Dynamite which is like half the price of the OS 2060?
