RE: Should I buy a Corona?

One thing to look out for when your building, is Corona plastic parts are notorious for having alot of flash. Take some time and clean up all the flash to keep things from binding. Good luck.

RE: Corona tail rotor gear box help !!!

For a price of $10.00, are you going to mass produce with injection molding~? Seems like that would be the only way to keep the price down that low. Like Darth says, don't sell yourself short. Good...

RE: Corona tail rotor gear box help !!!

There were times that I would go through a gearbox a day. Like Darth I easily went through 40 bucks of gearboxes and probably more, I use to have 2 as spares because they broke so easily. I got lucky...

RE: Eletric

If you fly glow already then your choices are endless. It's more up to your dollar limit and amount of land. You probably can find a plane like the glow's you fly. A slowflyer like a Mountain Models...

RE: Newbie needs help choosing a Corona

There are alot of Corona's out there. They're great, especially for learning since they're sturdy and reasonable to repair when you crash them. And now with Bret at Chopper 1, and Matt at Ballistic...

The minimum is four channels, five if you use like a Futaba GY401 gyro. Good luck.

RE: Slow stick carbon fibre fuselage?

You can use a 3/8" spruce stick. It's a little bit smaller then the stock fuse, use tape to shim it. Good luck.

RE: Hobby People Wild Wing EPP

They've been going on sale like every other week and drops to $19.99, so you may want to wait for the next price drop. I keep telling myself for 20 bucks what the heck..but haven't picked one up yet....

RE: Need some help from the airplane guys....

I can't tell you the details of propulsion dynamics, but I can lead you to the "Inflight" button after "Compute Report" and then hit the "Opinion" button. This will tell you if your over or under...

RE: Rotation and Props?????

I guess the easiest why I can put it is if your looking from the nose of the plane to the tail, you should be able to read the numbers on the prop. Then make sure the motor spins in the correct...

Ti Boom Guard

For those of you who don't venture over to RC Groups, after one of those little boom strikes that took out my C/F boom, I started looking into Bret's Ti booms. Well seeing that it might not fit on my...

RE: HiTec Electron 6 rerceiver

I was just reading about this last night since I'm setting up a Mini Funtana, I believe it said you can change it to channel 5. If your manual is the same as mine, look at page 43, and I believe this...

RE: Best way to remove fanfold film?

I just peeled it off piece by piece, but I read afterwards if you take a corner and then start rolling it off on a dowel it's suppose to be easier. Good luck.

RE: a sad, sad, day.....

It's amazing what a little epoxy or hotglue, and some strapping tape can do. Won't look the greatest, but I'm sure it will still fly. I've made an elevator out of meat packing trays also. If I...

RE: Corona 120?

Most will go with the 16/15/3. If you check around I think some will use the 16/15/4 but a larger pinion. The old Astro 20's use to throw magnetics all the time, I'm not sure if they fixed that...

RE: Shockie Questions

If you see the word "Outrunner", these motors are non-geared. I believe these are the new version Shockflyers, since the original ones were slightly smaller in size, and use thinner depron. Good luck.

RE: Power Cut-off in the 120

It sounds like a glitch. Your receiver is losing the signal, or something is interferring with it. Make sure you try to move the antenna wire away from all other wires, and that the receiver is as...

RE: magpie tweaking

RE: magpie tweaking

I just taped my lipo to the bottom, doesn't look the greatest but works. I pushed the landing gear way up toward the nose, and my kokams ride right in front of the leading edge. Balances out well,...

RE: magpie tweaking

I know with mine, when I tried to get it to glide level, the minute I hit the throttle it would go almost straight up. I set mine to fly more level under power and use up elevator when gliding. As...
