RE: O.S. .18 or TRX 2.5

I have both engines, but if you want to have fun just get the OS CV-RX .18, the TRX2.5 although a fast engine for it's size it also made me cry numerous times.:(.

RE: What can beat a Savage SS

Any truck can beat a Savage SS, it depends who's driving. If I were you I would get another SS minus the engine and get a better engine. It wouldn't be hard to find a faster engine, that is if he has...

RE: OS FS-18SR engine... ROTO START?

If the inner diameter of the TNX and the RS4 are the same then you need the oneway from the HPI.

RE: www.warheadmt.com UPDATED!!!

Looks like everything is attached to the bottom part of the chassis, great for low C of G, truggy style. Vertical plates are there to strengthen the bulks and gearbox. Just by looking at it, it seems...

RE: ATTN ThermalRD!

Can the Revo take the strain of a bigger engine, the TRX2.5 really puts me off. I know it's upgraded but I read it's still a little more or less the same pain to tune. I own a Tmaxx, the engine is...

RE: Reliable hobby shop that ships int

Towerhobbies have all the T-maxx parts and are very reliable just don't try to save a few dollars on shipment choose the faster and more expensive option. Otherwise you will have to wait months...

RE: Warhead anyone...

Well I have to be honest what kept me from buying a Savage is above all the lack of shock adjustments. The Warhead goes from one extreme to the other in adjustments regarding shock positions which...

RE: My Blazer SST Is Here

Can you give us some dimensions please, I am really interested on the width with the widest tyres on, it seems rather narrow like the rest of the OFNA range.

RE: Should i break in the new piston and sleeve with my sirio big bore pipe?

Home made squeeze eh??......... That's interesting. If the piston is hard to pass through the sleeve it doesn't necessarily mean a lot of compression it could be that you squeezed the sleeve out of...

RE: trx 2.5 question

C'mon ThermalRD (is that really you in the picture?) you know that the TRX2.5 is a pain. You're just one of the lucky ones that has one that can idle for more than a few seconds. Why of all the...

RE: trx 2.5 question

Yep listen to what they are saying I totally agree the TRX2.5 never gave me a chance to refuel with the engine idling it always cut out, Geez it frustrated me. Now I have the OS cvr .18 and I have...

RE: brand new truck <drool>

Yes I agree, but one might as well disregard the capacity also. It does give you an idea about the engine's power, the OS CVR.18 is rated at about the same as the TRX2.5 and it is just that I know I...

RE: brand new truck <drool>

Well some people do. In fact I bought the OS.18 over the Sirio just because I wanted similar performance to the TRX2.5. I did not want or need more power only to upgrade everything else to handle the...

RE: Your opinion! Best stock racing MT?

If it sounded like that it's not what I meant, I don't think it's the only reason that the Revo is doing well but I do believe that a good driver with a bad truck will outperform a bad driver with a...

RE: A-arms upgrade for GS SUT?

It is interesting and looks the business but you're right a bit expensive although the kit consists of more than just the A-arms. I am tempted though, the only problem is what if I break say the...

A-arms upgrade for GS SUT?

Are there upgrade A-arms or mods to eliminate the wheel extenders on the standard GS SUT? I am considering buying this truck and this does look it would be it's weak point, am I right in assuming...

RE: Your opinion! Best stock racing MT?

Well then I'll have to take your word for it, I think that is the best test, same driver same track different trucks but then again a particular driver might prefer a particular truck, it's not...

RE: Your opinion! Best stock racing MT?

That's exactly what I was trying to point out, the fact that guys like Slayden would make any truck look good. It just also happens he drives a great truck to complete the package.

RE: Your opinion! Best stock racing MT?

Maybe my point wasn't clear enough, I agree that the REVO is one hell of a truck but it didn't take one for Slayden or other similarly good drivers to win races in the past. Yeah it does help a lot...

RE: Your opinion! Best stock racing MT?

I don't think you can judge the Revo that is driven by Slayden, I bet you that he can get good lap times with whatever truck he competes with. Don't get me wrong I own, race and love my T-maxx and I...
